Race car finally out of Hibernation


Jeez ! Just with earthing - that is nuts.

I'll be checking back for updates :)

sounds like he's ran the earthing in an "improved" way over standard, will be sure to take some pics of it..............

8 hp just from redoing the grounds,, excellent,,

Done a voltage drop check and due to crap earthing the engine wasn't getting full power for the electrics!

Redone the earthing with better wiring, now producing more power right through the revs with a peak of 194bhp on the STANDARD ecu

Most of all happy with the attention to detail from Henry! Alot of tuners would have been happy with the 186bhp base figure, but he wasn't happy with that and spent alot of extra time diagnosing the problem and resolving it fully before tuning

Will update how it feels to drive after i collect it :)
 
Very good figure Steve!

Its not the peak figure that is most important tho as I'm sure the car is now producing around 25bhp extra in the mid range (at approx 6k) and that is the power difference that you really feel!

Will have it down at Knockhill on the 19th from 9am-1pm for the SIDC track day :nice:

Can't wait to see how it goes mapped/short gears/brembos/new wheels etc all since the last outing. see me closer to 60s a lap i think

Current best is 63s but usually pull 64 consistently, thats only getting 100 out it on the straights, haha
 
Figure sounds great buddy! What was your final torque aswell?

Might head up to kh on the 19th for a swatch!
