Thanks, like all the modifications I have done, I try to tell it how it is, good & bad, hopefully the information will save somebody a little grief, wasted time and their hard earned.
 
why the fuel rail and the fpr? Can't you just use stock?
 
After my top speed run the other day I decided to make sure everything was in good shape for Donny, a trip to the dyno identified my 6th gear as the limit, the map was spot on. The dyno indicated 127mph, as I hit the limiter, on the road it was 130mph (GPS), so split the hairs and its probably 135mph on the clocks.

After this I had a dyno run, it pulled 231bhp@fly/193atw/160 torques! Graphs:

Any reason you went to artech rather than tdi north etc
 
Several good tuners local to me but he is the closest, TDI is a bridge too far.

Houston we have a problem. Just been to Surrey rolling road, car is now running 156atw, 40 odd brake down, lights flashing at the top end, with Charlie thinking some slight knock, hoping to get seen pronto :angry:

If the engine check light is flashing its definitely knock. Have you got the lead to connect to your kpro and datalog? Did the dyno operator comment on air/fuel ratio's? Just wondering are you having fueling issues.
 
hope you fine a solution to all these. In my opinion the reliability and strength of eg/ek series, body and machinery cannot be found easily in modern hondas. So, used parts that we tend to buy with out worries, isn't the case with k-series.
 
Will scan my graph shortly, the op just said it wasnt running right at all, 20 DC5's running today. Not a clue about datalogging unfortunately, somebody did offer to help but not today. Will be on the phone first thing in the morning to Romain, see if he can fit me in.

There has just been a couple of recent posts about B/K reliability, I will reserve judgement until the issue is found!
 
wow, its down a lot of power. My guess would be your getting very high knock counts and the ecu is going to safe mode which will lock the vtc cam angle at 0 degrees. Did you fill up with fuel recently?
