Anyone any intrest in an EM1 race car build?....

Just some small updates from tonights work:
1. Lexan windows pop riveted in. Looks animal!!!
2. New ball joints pressed into the front hubs
3. Front subframe completely polbushed. Will be putting this back in tomorrow with the hubs and new suspension
4. Seat re-mounted to my favoured position
5. Rear trailing arms off. Being polybushed tomorrow.

Going to try and get everything back on the car over the weekend!!!

EPIC build mate, so much work, well done!! Great idea on the scooby bonnet vent, will give them beautiful ITB's plenty fresh air!! :)

Keep us updated! :)

there is an EK9 on here with a scooby vent on the bonnet for ITB's..
can't remember for the life of me what his screen name is though..

someone will know.. it was white with black wheels..... not that that helps really but hey.

Continuing on with the work this weekend.
Got the rear trailing arms out and will be polybushed tomorrow hopefully.
Got the new lexan windows pop-riveted in
Put on the boot with slider pins
Took off the front hubs and pressed new Buddyclub Rollcentre Adjusters in I also took off the metal disc guard which will allow me to run cooling channels to the discs themselves
Finished polybushing teh front subframe and installed the subframe.
Also managed to put the pedals, wiper motor and single wiper conversion back in.
I also put new polybushings in the P1 camber arms and im doing a small little mod on these before i put them back in.

Thanks for the comments.
The two tone blue is so nice. Thank you for sharing buddy. When are you expecting to get this on the track?
Funds are running a little low at the moment.
Another few days work should see everything back on the car apart from the running gear.
If im out for a few events before the end of the year i'l be happy, but ive still an awful lot of small things to sort out.
And as we all know, fixing problems=spending money :(

Fuel tank+lines back in
Front brake lines + prop valve + Master Cylinder back in
Struts back in
Modded front Camber arms back in
Pressed out old RTA bushes
Poly ones going in tonight
Welding the engine mounts tomorrow
New suspension should arrive next week
Then its nearly ready for the engine!!!!!!!!!
