Anyone any intrest in an EM1 race car build?....


Correct me if i'm wrong but when you went and logged a complaint didn't they deem you to be in the wrong? If I were you i'd stop dwelling on it and just focus on round 2... or enter time attack:p
 
Sorry to read about your encounter on track but that is racing as posted above.
Plus keep in mind that you can be out front and still be the slower car on track, making you a target of frustration...im assuming here as I have not seen any footage of the encounter. Always keep a cool head and a wide perspective.

No need to try and change history.
Try to learn from the encounter and soldier on buddy!

In car footage is up in the otrher thread Larry!
Yeah the damage is currently being fixed up. Will be back stronger and fighting fresh for the next round!

Didnt go up to bishopscourt Robby :(
So dissapointed i could not go, but after replacing the whole front of the car and fixing the rest of the body and replacing my gearbox i didnt have any money left for entry fees :(
I'l be out again for the next round, hopefully i wont sustain as much damage as i did the last time...fingers croosed!

You just cant do them all, i didnt have the money to race at it either which im pretty gutted about. Glad to hear you have got yours back together tho and ready for the next race. :nice:

Thats racing for you!
Financial sponsorship helps as well, but its near impossible to get that when ive absolutely no racing experience.
Next year might be different though ;)

Cheers dude. What really f'ed me up was my gearbox trouble. The diff bearing collapsed which lead to more internal damage, so had to buy new bits and bobs to get the box fixed...and that wasnt cheap :(

I'l be out testing before the next race so hopefully can sort any issues out before race weekend!
 
Any more racing done lad? Hows the motor going now?

done well with the racing in anglesey. Came 2nd and third in the 2 races.
I got race 1 on camera but the quality is poor...its freezing most of the way through teh vidjo so following it is pretty hard :( i was going to convert the files to another format to see if that works but i think im fighting a losing battle :(
Next round is in 2 weeks time. I noticed a few little niggly things wrong and im going sorting them tonight. Had the last week or so off to source some replacement parts.
I know where theres a godd b18c motor going cheap. It has baffled sump and a few other nice bits. It was reconditioned before the season started so i know its in good nick. Are you staying b-series?......

Yeah there was a full grid in both classes and the racing was absolutely fantastic! There was a good bit of support as well. There was quite a lot of welsh people there as well, they even had a chap on the mic commentating on the race! It was pretty funny afterwards as a lot of the drivers have nicknames now that the commentator managed to fook al their names up hahaha!!!!
What a track though. Theres some gutsy corners out on the back straight. Get them right you'll be rewarded with a good lap time, get it wrong your in the wall :nerv:
I must post up some videos from other in cars. Im gonna try really hard to get my own vidjo's up!
Just seen its a k20 that went pop...sorry bout that dude :(

Yep i'm definately gonna be out.
Once you see how close and intense the racing action is, you'll want to be out as well haha :D
Theres been some good action in teh vee's this year. I have a number of friends racing them. Thats pretty intense stuff as well!

I really like the way you run your car.
Looks like you did a good job.

Can you tell/measure the thickness of the Sparco roll-cage tubing?
I'm thinking of buying one,but can't figure out the thickness of the tubing.
