Heres a sample of areas of cage fitment and the standard of welding. The top windscreen bar is a perfect fit and the side windscreen bars are also exceptionally good.:

The standard of welding has to be seen to be believed. The welds as you can see resemble robotic welds the guy was soo good at what he done:

I also received my Baby MoTeC back from the motec guru's so this should be ready to rock'n'roll pretty shortly:

Just a photo of the sunroof blank. We tacked this in the other night. A bit of work in getting it to fit flush but were making steady progress with that:

More updates from last night:

1. New seat rails have been welded in. I test fitted the seats and the drivers seat at least has a perfect position :)

2. Most of the work is done on the roof, so just skimming that this evening.

3. Steering rack is now polybushed. I got new inner and outer track rod ends so i'l be putting them on over the weekend. Also polybushing the front LCA's and wishbones. Adding rose jointed ARB links and will then be giving all the new bits a fresh lick of paint before assembly.

4. Painting the car this weekend ;) so stay tuned.

Oh ive no idea.
I'l weight everything up when im finished the build and weel see what it is then.
Hopefully it'l come in under 1000kg's with driver and fuel :)

My full fia cage was 45kg's to give you an idea, if mine ends up under 1000kg's ill be a happy bunny

I'd imagine mt cage will be slightly heavier as we added extra bars, but i still hope to come in under 1000kg's. Thats the goal anyway.

I will not be going back to the guy i bought it off. He is a complete disaster.

Cracking on with the work today.
Managed to get the roof completely finished and then i tackled the inside of the car, with sanding and cleaning everything in preparation for painting.
