Thanks Gav!
I will never do a roof job like that ever again. It's taken me all week to get it anywhere near right, and the arms are pulled of me there was so much sanding and filling and sanding again to be done.
If i was ever to build another race car i'd start with an lsi shell with a thin roof.

Nice words of encouragement Neil :D
Photo's of the paint scheme dont really look the best but once all the panels go back on and the thing is cleaned, i'l get some proper photographs taken.
Ive also decided on a custom vinyl design on the car. It will be a mirror image of this car here:

The roof aint perfect but it's a good job and didnt cost me anything but time and effort.
The plan is to replicate the same design theme as Gizz's car but i'l be using my own sponsors and some of the colours will be different.
It will be similar though.

I have all the panels back on the car so must take a pic or two and post them up ;)
When the sunlight hits it, it looks awesome!!!!

Geez. I can see the ID725's but wow on the 1000's lol.

Any info on this Diamond Tipped Finish? Just a smoother cut/finish I assume?

Wow 550's? Is this a NA setup?

Yes staying N/A:dance:
I will try fixing the link when i return home this evening, might even register a new account on photobucket :)

Yes, exactly. The finished 'dimpled' cut is to absolute precision. I didnt go into much detail with teh engineer at the machine shop, but the machines he was using are very tasty ;)
