Jesus what a lovely motor have never seen it about.

Thanks man :). And it's only been on the roads for about 3months in total since imported, will be out again come April to Kirkistown though and then summer.

Cheers man, The car overall is a bit marmite to people, but I had to try and make it look a bit different from the usual EK9'esque Jordan etc... Tried to give it a Kanjo/Touge style which I love.

So a few things has happened and things installed
-Brembo max discs all round, do-luck brake lines, all round, front ARB polybushed, J's'esque cover, J's cap and plaque and just been out enjoying it with my dad in his dc2!

Also a guy from my dads work has a 2.4type S accord with Full skunk2 exhaust, lightened flyweel etc... and has a simple mindset that there is no chance a 1.6 would touch his 2.4 and had to be settled by putting on the indicator to go out by him and continually pulling. To say he is unimpressed in an understatement! Also had to play with a couple of friends glanza's, Similar story to the Accord :p.

Few recent pics:

Little pic to show how the sideskirts look colour coded, Needed done IMO. But won't be getting a '9 rear lip have to keep some SiR aspects about it and think the rear "cut up" look is racey, Looking for a little fresh facelift EJ9 at the mo to replace my Lupo daily, I like the Honda's and after experience with mums EP3 day to day, post 2001 Honda's just aren't made the same as EK's etc... Mechanically the quality has deteriorated IMO hence why I'm after a EK 1.4 than a EP 1.4 :p

Looking well, how come you's didn't make it to Kirkistown today?

Cheers guys :nice:. I'm at uni in Newcastle most of the year so I'm not home an awful lot, was hoping there would be one end of Feb, but there's not so gonna have to wait until April now, Next time it'll see the road. Good day out?

Wasn't a bad day, my car is being painted ATM so it wasn't ready on time. The next date is 24th of march so hope to be at that one

Happy days, I'll be at uni on those dates unfortunately :(. But will be at the 14th of April one, Dad can't wait to get the DC2 out! :nice:

So I have been thinking about white wheels, as white and Y56 just work for me, Have been looking at getting some white RG2's, MF10L's, TE37's RPF1's but I do love my Rega's so I have been thinking of doing this! What you guys reckon? Although I do love white TE37's!

Example of Y56 and white, Love this thing minus the front bumper, looks purposeful!

Do not paint them regas you have white! But would agree yellow on white wheels looks nice.

love this car!! soo clean and simple looking. please enter it into the show and shine at japfest in mondello this year i wanna see it so much

Keep the regas as original as you can bud is my view as they will hold value better,be shame to start messing with them as they are minty.

If your really set on white rims then buy a set already in that colour,i painted my 16" regas and yes they looked well but pissed me off cleaning them.

I agree to keeping the Rega's original. That one you posted with the TE's looks very nice.

I wish I had an SiR over my '9.

White Rega's for the win man , they look mint with yellow think it would set your car off and look absolutely mint , but at end of day your car your choice ...

I think I have followed the advice!

Thanks alot man :nice: If it's on over summer or easter I might end up taking a trip down.

I know what you are saying man, So I have decided against painted the wheels. And I don't really mind cleaning as to be honest, this car is lucky to see 1000miles a year lol.

I actually started looking for an SiR because I presumed I couldn't insure a 9, realized it cost's pretty much the same, but still, Happy I have the SiR and don't regret a thing :nice: Cheers.

Cheers Adam, aye, I am not painting the rega's but still going white :nice:

So as it goes, and being a student I just can't afford to keep two sets of mad tyte JDM y0 wheels, So I have put a deposit down on something else with a good low offset for the flush stance look arches pulled and rolled next:nice:

Nah I'm joking, that look just ain't for me at all on Honda's! Went for something which is forged and also weighs 3.9kg and is white!

Also got this for the next trackday in just over a month which I'm getting ready for, just got the brakes bled up properly after lines were changed, some MOTUL RBF was added as I cooked the fluid last time on the track, Oil and filter change with some HAMP and MOTUL again, aswell as mums EP3 and dads DC2, Thanks to simauto yet again :nice:

Need to get the suction mount and a spare battery now.

So aye, rega's will be up forsale in a while, anyone interested PM me. 4x100, et35 15X6.5, Original stickers on face and barrel, 9.9/10 condition, just for the fact they aren't new. In original finish, with original stem's and even valve caps etc... I would probably say they are the cleanest and most original Rega's in this spec left, if not one of them. Really is making me sad to let them go, but change is good!
