Looking good bud.. i have hawk hp pads if you're looking for some for track?

Cheers guys and my car is 262's at the mo and I can imagine yours being for 282 calipers? Ideally I just need some decent pads to tie me over, brake calipers will be upgraded over winter anyway.

Here's a few phone pics with one along with my other Honda ;).

I work at the carwash and take car when washing it there incase anyone thinks I'm a lazy twat lol.

And Recently in prep for the track next weekend I have gathered:

Dixcel Type Z pads which my dad had on his DC2 and they were amazing!
Refreshing the brake fluid with something racey.
And I'm borrowing some Yoko A021-R Racing tyres, in 13's but with the a profile which equates similar to my current setup. Track day on 13" steelies y0 lol.

Well, Made it to track on the 19th as a little early Birthday treat to myself and had the most fun I ever have had before, the cars peformance exceeded my expectations, even with a conservative back end setup, running relatively soft. Used EBC Yellow's as I needed something in a hurry as Dixcel's didn't fit and I for value/performance on track I couldn't rate them higher, used Hankook RS2's in the end up (my road tyres). But found some pretty worn ones to use on the front to save my own fronts, I thought they were great aswell. Done well over an hour on track with not on problem apart from boiling the 5.1 dot fluid I used. Kirkistown is a great setup and is very well run.

Plugged a harness in for track too.

Some updates which include the C/F tray and some Australian items to stiffen up the rear which I want to do for some balance, 18mm rear brace (Largest I could go without using a subframe brace) and superbro poly arb bushes. Got the 18mm at a good price so thought I'd try it with some stiffer damper settings to see how I get on the next time it see's track which may be next year as it's stored for winter now since I'm back at uni. Also some track pics and Phil's DC2 which is amazing on track IMO!.

Hey man can you please show me some pictures or tell me how you fitted that seat to a rail? I have one here but not sure how to do it, thanks. Going to give it a crack tomorrow

Car is looking great mate, love the seat!

What size of rear anti-roll bar did you go for?

Bolt the seat to the side mounting points of the rail and attach to the car. It's a Buddyclub Sidemount rail I have used here. If you have the right seat and rail it's common sense really, 4 mounting bolts at base of seat and 4 at base of the rail to the car.

Cheers man.
Haha, Yeh I love it too, comfortable for everyday use aswell. And I got an 18mm, stock is 14 or some come with 15mm (mine was 15). I presumed it should make a difference being aftermarket too. The adjustable droplinks give me stiffness adjustability aswell. Haven't tried it yet though. Want a front H brace to tighten up the front further but doubt it will clear my 4-1

this EK4 rocks!

Who you get the rear arb off bud?
Asking as im maybe gonna small bit bigger just if i dont fit a subframe brace.

Haha cheers man! She's staying off the road for winter now to keep it clean.

I love your little car! Got it off demon tweeks surprisingly but you can order off whiteline direct. Its the 18mm but all I could find were 15mm poly bushes so squeezed them in and the worked a treat! Careful with this ARB and the exhaust clearance though.

Civic's off the road now until January time, Uni calls! But on the bright side it's up at the paintshop getting the front bumper painted and the whole front properly lined as I've had the bumper off a few times lol.

Will be gathering bits and pieces up over the winter so will keep this updated :nice:.

Oh and my Dad has bought a DC2 for us to share on track, with a fair few goodies, 1.5way LSD, shorter gearset, Zeal coilovers etc... Will get pics of that up too, it's a bit of a beast lol.

Cheers guys! Hate being so far away from my car at uni lol, will be home in a months time today and since I haven't been driving it, I keep buying parts :/.

Some j's racing, Do-luck, Pivot, Brembo, Motul etc... to get stuck on and more bits and pieces.

Car has recently had a full compound and buff along with full front end re-spray excluding bonnet of course, and professionaly re-alligned, early Christmas present from my dad that one :nice:, supposed to be a real good job, just can't wait to see it!

Dad is building a DC2 he bought recently for track and road now apparently, So will get pics up and all that when I'm back :nice:
