Enough with the bloody Rota hate, if it's good enough for pro drift and time attack teams it's good enough for your road car, end of story.

yea, because they use their cars 7 days a week and experience the potholes and speedbumps. :blabla:

seriously though rota's are fine i just have reservations about there quality on britains roads!

Well I had rota group n's on my old civic for over a year and they were second hand - cant fault them in any way - car got constant abuse and always seen potholes (well when i didnt manage avoid them) around my area (roads are terrible). Even sold them on to my mate and they were fine on his car too.

The biggest reason rota's got hated on is because they copied designs which most people detested, this led to them getting bashed every day on and on so when someones wheel broke in an accident (also on more than one occasion) (which is common with a lot of wheels, any wheel can break in a high impact crash) everyone bashed on the quality of the wheels.

I've even seen mega expensive wheels bend after one pot hole (used to work in a car wash - seen a lot of diff kinds of wheels with damage)

I say who cares what anyone thinks - its your car, if you want rota's buy them.

If your scared about them braking and want to listen to all the forum bandwagon superstars who know everything about wheel stregnth and design carry on and dont buy them.

i like rota's and would happily use them on my car but you and others HAVE to understand that race conditions are NOTHING like the road.

I used Ray's light weight wheel nut's " for racing use " they said on them, so i thought well they'll be fine on the roads then.... WRONG.

4 of the 16 Warped 2 nuts actually worked themselves loose from the wheel so i only had 2 nuts holding the wheel on...... I angryly called VOlK/Rays.... he was sorry to hear about it but stated that road use has far more abuse than race events..
therefore there was nothing he could do. he even stated if i HAD Used them at a race event and could prove they warped under race coditions then he would have been able to give me discount on new one's...as this is classed as a failure but on the road NOPE...

So please stop saying if they are ok for drift or race.. its completely different.

... jesus guys i just wanted to know if you'se liked the wheels

I would go for white dude, white on black is always good!
