are they not Rota JSPL's ??

never seen slipstreams with a polished lip.. Hmm lol maybe its the picture but i don't think they are slipstreams.. look very nice though :)

:L

no mate they are slipstreams, dont mean to sound like a dick but i know my wheels lol
they do look like JSPL's from that picture though!!

Rare Rims | Rota Wheels UK

look at the middle photo at the bottom!! :nice:

Alright lol sorry dude don't get offended... i did say its the picture that makes me think they're not slip's..

anyway i digress... back to your question.

Nether lol. i don't think white or yellow will look good on a black EK. ( again its my opinion please don't think i'm saying anything other than a thought in my head lol )..

I think Bronze would look great but ultimately it's your choice dude. :)
you gonna paint them yourself ??

im not offended
dont worry, i was just stating that they are slips but they dont look like it in the photo..

would only paint them a goldy bronze, as from most off the pictures ive seen with black eks with bronze wheels... the bronze is too dark and makes the wheel look smaller, or is it just me that thinks that?

was going to get rota slips last year until i seen this...

@ elchunk - LOL seen that myself, that photo was taken after the driver hit a curb and crashed the car. seen an explaination on an american forum

Rota haters xD need to ask driftwork people to stop using them. Am pretty sure they abuse it more than your average fwd car.

I don't think much of drifters. They can use **** tyres, **** suspension and **** wheels and that works for them. It's a different set of circumstances entirely.

No Rota hate here BTW, just saying...

i painted my old vti wheels bronze and it looked well, bronze slips on a black civic would look ace imo white would be nice too though.

not being a hater as i've owned rotas in the past myself but as they as cast and volks, regas are forged i'll stay clear of the rotas from now on. Because cast wheels tend to break/snap and forged wheels tend to bend/deform.

WTF, Looooool!

but back on topic, bronze / white slips would "look" badass on a black ek. I just wont be running them..

The VTI-S ek4 alloys are made by Speedline..

lol at the rota photo's... the one that is all twisted would be a nice wheel if it was meant to be like that lol.

also like the T-shirts that say " Real friends don't let mate's ride on rota's "

pretty sure they are mass produced my enkei and are cast.

so orig enkei tend to break? :nerv:

actually i was defending rota because our team here in the philippines are sponsored by rota rims....non of our rims tends to break like that on track and on road(very bumpy road)...unfortunately there are many manufacturers claimed to be rota at export it in your country or other countries (fake rota's) and also some of the competitor in the achilles drifting competition used ROTA rims....they would not used that if they now they will bring them down....

to thread starter: flat black would be nice on the slips....try to put more flatenning paste on it....not to much coz the paint will chip...
