Tegiwa Manifold

Nice results

I think the twin loop by design is restrictive. This was proven over on itr dc5 forum.

Totally agree with you there Johnny. In reality if we had more time we could have seen the max power on stock manifold without mugen twinloop and then the same with the Tegiwa.

Ground clearance is excellent, The quality is great, obviously not to SMSP or HYTECH standard but these two brands generally cost more than double the price of the TEGIWA. With regard to fitment, as mentioned one of the bolt holes is a couple of millimeters offset. I've no doubt Tegiwa will have their manufacturer correct the CNC program for this ASAP.

Either way to say the manifold was the only thing changed, it gave great results once the ecu was tuned and is definitely good value for money! Appearence is great too. I'd certainly reccomend it for the B16b.

Graph will be posted at the end of the day tomorrow when i have chance to copy them off the dyno. :nice:

just when you say dc sports crack, i managed a crack a spoon manifold  lol was a sad day.

tegiwa might be worth a try though man :nice:

I still have that spoon manifold on my 9! Got it repaired and its been perfect!:)

I told so...I would never pay the price they cost for the performance they give...btw could you send me the lenght of the belts to use with the underdrive pulley? Thanks...very good material...

Is that a B16a engine?
If so, EXCELLENT ground clearance

Can this be fitted with the oem ek9 cat? Not sure if it has a 2.5 flange

Here's the picture of my Tegiwa header I promissed to post a while ago!
It has been fitted for about 4 months now and haven't cleaned/polished it ever since.

True, thanks for putting my mind at ease. It's easy to read a comment like the above and then start thinking the worst.....you know what it's like.

Hopfully this manifold will be proved to be as good as the Toda.

Its a good alternative, but not better than toda. Nothing is better than toda on a B16.

The collector on the Toda is tapered where the diamond shaped weld is thus creating an increase of airflow like a jet engine. This Tegiwa copy is missing that.

But its definitely a good alternative header.
