I am not sure what the latest is but last time i heard it was slightly down on power. I am sure Ian will update when he can but as i understand it he is in the process of buying is first house so is very busy sorting that and making sure his car is ready for the nurburgring trip.

Spoke to him on the phone the other week, car is in good health and pulling like a train

Most importantly it's ready to rock for the Ring trip this coming week :D

Sorry for the delay guys.

Well the new exhaust didn't make anymore power on peak actually lost like 2hp on the day but it did make a little more on midrange.

After looking at the reasons why i'm sure it was just what happened on the day.

Ambient temperatures where higher
Air density was lower
Slight mis fire
No heat wrap so my intake temps had rocketed over previous dyno
To much oil in the engine

Car feel stronger now but i'm sure its only a small ammount gained with the new exhaust.
I think header would play a big part in the minute difference.

Anyway at the Nurburgring car performed very well with a recorded lap of 8:58 with traffic so i'm pretty pleased (Pics and Video to follow) although i have a pretty big list now... AGAIN

Some very cheap pointless mods

Steel wheel nuts
Team dynamic 1.2
New R888's
Caps for intake
Tax disc holder
Holes in bumper for cooler air
Re route headlamp looms
New Skunk2 camber arms (My buddy clubs came loose and nearly resulted in a huge accident)
KW coilovers V3 with high spring rates
75A Engine mounts
Stick on plate
Cut exhaust tip (Don't like outward roll anymore, race cars look cool as f@#k with a straight cut)
Carbon mirrors
VTEC solonoid cover
New EBC Yellows front
New discs
And maybe replace the 4.785 FD for a 4.928......

ALSO I MUST REMEMBER Tyre pressures

Cold

20 psi front
22.5 psi rear

Worked very well on track. :drive:

what kind of hp is your car putting out now? looking forward to the vid and pics :nice:

It's 190 @ the wheels. Which was between 35-40 up over my B18C with IHE.

I won't be, as ground clearance seems to be a real issue with the Hytech and smsp headers.

It was built by Will at RDT. Is it worth it.... It cost me £8500 in total nit Inc exhaust and retune. I would say unless you have a unhealthy b series leave it alone. The car is great to try but it just feels normal again after you get used to the extra power. And living with a hi comp as a daily can be a right royal pain in the arse. Lucky I don't use mine daily. It's a track and show car for me.

Ah it'll be fine! Na not bigger brakes no need the spoons lock up on the ring with no real effort. Just new discs and front pads as mine are tired.
