Project Diablo - Turbo B16 EM1 (Picture Heavy)

In all honesty makes sense why its at its current state, it was mapped with more parts in mind, so when the parts do get fitted, new ecu and a proper Map. sorted.

If you can make it that far without it blowing up!:nerv:

Good luck with the modding though, will look good when re-painted.

Cheers Kris.

Lol won't blow up tho... It was my daily for 2 months no issues tbh.

Lose the bodykit and the crazy interior, Get the engine checked over by someone like Performance Tek.

689R... 243 bhp is its running in power at not even 7 PSI.... engine was rebuilt not that long ago.

sleeper/jon etc. im sorry i got mixed up, i was on the phone to J & N Developments (same company that built this civic and my last one) and quiried what ECU was in it. Its a Stock ECU with a piggyback running an injector Kit, to help run in the engine.

as for putting my car stock... not a chance, every coupe has lowered, decent alloys, maybe a bit of smoothing and some other OEM+ bits and peices. each maybe even slightly different. Well i want to make this car my own and be very different.
The theme im going for is one ive been planning for a long time, going for a very Evil murdered out look, where absaloutly everything goes black, minus headlights and select bits of interior. Black will also help make the bodykit more subtle, instead of the In your Face it is atm.

Im near Portobello Jon, My K20'd civic was around bathgate livi alot, i only moved to Edinburgh in April, and this car has been in the garage for 98% of the time getting rebuilt etc.

It aint a crime to be different mate so good on you! :)

Nae worries mate well hopefully see you about. But as I said above defo get your tuning done by Henry Roy and I would lean more towards a custom exhaust system than the HKS one. go to complete auto solutions in shotts for your exhaust, they done mine and its amazing! will be way better quality and way cheaper than an HKS system!

good luck!

Agreed !!

Got my exhaust done there for my turbo , its Art work haha.

I think you will need to spend a few bit more coin if you want to see 400bhp

I'm not one to be dissapointed in car from over sea's simply, Bcus you guys get these car from the dealer as monster and very sleek and clean to see your car it remind me of when . THe FIrst FAst and The Furious Came Out and Everybody and the mom where putting body kits on THose HAlo head lights are garbage if you want projector fit em into your stock headlights .

Idk to each his own that faze and side of the car industry never appealed to me a civic with a body kit jus looks abnormal and ricey ,I like your motor build though and ,I hope you take this car a little futher maybe Stock front and rear bumpers and a nice set of jdm black housing headlights with that paint scheme your going for would Look killer , IDK bro good luck man if you like it . I guess that all that really matter's.

Cheers jon and wishy,
Yeah your right a custom one would be better, just the sound that some hks exhausts make is awesome.

Wishy all the parts are there for the engine to withstand high boost, and with a t4 turbo I wouldn't be surprised to see 400 if not more. Quite a few folk reckon that. Will be interesting to find out!

Am running the same set up with higher boost and better cams maybe better fuelling too only seen injector on your list but might have missed something (if so my bad !). But am only hoping to make over 300 hopefully up nearer 350 but i doubt it

Seen a similar make 300 but am sure it was 10 psi . I anit trying to be a c00t mate just sharing info :nice:

well its getting a new fuel regulater etc. with the 750 CC injectors.
my spec isnt far off steve/saw's engine and he is 400bhp, (he could get 450 now tho if he wanted) and majority of people mechanic and on forums reckon ill hit well into 400 zone...
if it got 250bhp at barely 7 psi, with shitty fuel and ECU, i reckon itll defo reach that figure.

Yasir on here is building a 450bhp EG have a look at his thread and check the size of turbo hes got !! Lol

aye ur right... but im not that far off there tho, bare in mind theres ****loads of stuff ive missed off my spec sheet, was made a while ago and quite quickly.

why steve only running 0.7 bar? thought he was running much more? or capable of running much more atleast..

what turo has that EG got?

i wouldnt mind a Garret turbo.. the T5 one, cant remember the name G45R or something. Thats a beast of a turbo.

size of the turbo on that EG!! fookin hell. That is a beast of a car.
Gona need to find ur build thread wishy ;) fancy some knockhill this year? Might be going to Japfest in May aswell.
Ill make sure to post a proper full spec sheet when i go to review the work on the car next month, but the mechanic reckons itll see 400+ easy with just a few changes in parts which will be getting done next month.
I just hope hes right! Mind you he's never been wrong so far lol.
All i know for a fact is that £10,000 has been thrown at the engine so far.
not including the 2 and a half grand im throwing at it next month

thats the one... i just forgot what it was called, heck i even filmed one.
long work shifts do that to ya!

u mean why *did* i want...
well before the sale, he ran all the parts by me, what was spent on each part, what power each is good for, what parts needed upgrading if i wanted more power etc etc.
Just since its been a few months and ive not driven the car for a while... and my job isnt anything to do with mechanics... just forgot a good deal of it.

If theres questions i need answered, i fire em at the mechanic, and or hunt through forums to find the answer, get the problem fixed or upgraded and move on. Then it gets forgotten lol.

Kinda feel a bit sorry for you mate based on that statement.

For your 2500 a month youve got a speclist that doesnt marry up with whats on the engine, and a loose understanding of whats actually going on with your engine.

For £400 + the price of a set of injectors, this could be mapped by a HONDA SPECIALIST (Henry Roy), and be working to its full safe potential.

But if your a glutton for chucking money in the wrong direction......
