aye it was misfiring due to either sparkies or cause i let it idle for over 25 mins sitting still before the actual run (my fault)
so it got 180bhp and 180 lb @ 4,500 RPM. after that started misfiring so russell didnt want to push it past that. Was a little gutted but couldnt do anything about it, just will have to see what it does when its finished in a months time.

but on a serious note... "some shitey looking 5 dr civic" uncalled for, i spent alot of time on that car mate, and had a long lasting bond with it... i still do. i wouldnt say that to any of ur cars no matter how **** it might look. Just stop with being offencive, ur not proving anything.

Thats about it really.. had a bit of fun at SMC aswell.

I loved that car, and alot of other people too, but alot of people also hated it. Either way it got a reaction and that was the point of modifying it.
It did feel like it had a personality... and i miss it.

it had a personality? fs, you have issues. thought u said you spent 10 grand or something on the k20 , or was that the coupe?

Whats wrong with leaving your car idling for 25 mins before a power run? its actually a not bad idea, letting it warm up properly, certainly no reason for it to make just 20bhp more than a standard coupe vti lol.
 
ive heard alot of people mention that their car kinda has a personality.. each to their own.
na didnt spend 10 grand on the k20. Ive not spent much on the coupe atm, previous owner fired 10 grand on the engine, including toe T4 turbo conversation, rebuild and all the aftermarket and OEM parts.

probably the spark plugs then, either way not going to know till James strips the engine down and figures it out, gona rebuild the turbo just to be sure. Either way im not going to get it back till its running perfect and running as much power as i can get out of it.
 
£3,000 on the K20, with gearbox, ancileries etc. everything there for the conversion.
£1,100 on labour. 200 for custom exhaust, 100 for induction.

But wow...the money your spending is insane. You need to do some proper research by the sound of things.
And as a tip. Take on board what some of these guys are saying. They know there stuff...and i'm not sure you do :(

nah, the civic, feart?. I wanna see it go, it should be a beast. forums posts are all well and good but you should bring the car out when some of the boys are out, what about coming to the meet in glasgow tomorrow night?

i agree that some people could have given the guy more of a chance from the outset yes, however the way hes spouting stuff that he blatantly knows nothing about and is trying to tell people who do this for a living about things he has no idea about... he deserves to be made a mockery of, people will respect him alot more if he holds his hands up and ASKS for advice rather than trying to pretend he knows what hes on about...

I think it is fair to say this dude has been given a fair chance by the forum,a s well as other forums. He is cleary not open to the opinions or insights of others. His loss really.
