Project Diablo - Turbo B16 EM1 (Picture Heavy)

cheers mate, Just a bit of photoshopping magic, takes longer to do than it looks lol!

well he did say its running lean and he got that wrong, so hes bound to be wrong about what picture software has been used lol.
As for correct ECU, it wasnt a big priority for me to know what it was, as i knew it had to be changed anyway, it was there to let the car run in. All i do now is what it needs next.

power did it make? can you post up the AFR graph?

Read OP

as for the graph i actually dno where that is, i uploaded a crap picture of it on another forum so ive got that, but u can only see the Bhp and Torque lines going up thats about it lol.

going for another dyno run in march/april tho =)

Each to their own dude,

A lot of ricer cars can be brought back to standard, clean JDM styling but this will IMO cost way too much to bring back to how I and most people on this forum think a civic should look. I like the inside except the dash/red bits.

243bhp.

beast.

lol

not a huge fan of the cars, in my opinion coupes look a lot nice standard and lowered. and as said its a bit jail break running a turbo on a stock ecu it would be better to get it into a real specialist to give it the once over

looks nice black with red angel eyes... looks seriously DIABLO :)

ECU's not stock. Think he said it was running KROME? And already had a Base Map made for it.

Looks are not my cup of tea, more of a OME/standard body kind of guy but to each his own :)

I think you have a good base to work with anyway, will look way better when you have re-sprayed it black!! Your ecu has obviously been mapped using crome. Give Henry Roy at Triple H tuning a call to get it set up and checked, he is the only person anyone should go to about mapping their Honda in Scotland! PM me if you want his contact details!

Where in Edinburgh are you based mate, never saw either of your cars around?

689R... 243 bhp is its running in power at not even 7 PSI.... engine was rebuilt not that long ago.

sleeper/jon etc. im sorry i got mixed up, i was on the phone to J & N Developments (same company that built this civic and my last one) and quiried what ECU was in it. Its a Stock ECU with a piggyback running an injector Kit, to help run in the engine.

as for putting my car stock... not a chance, every coupe has lowered, decent alloys, maybe a bit of smoothing and some other OEM+ bits and peices. each maybe even slightly different. Well i want to make this car my own and be very different.
The theme im going for is one ive been planning for a long time, going for a very Evil murdered out look, where absaloutly everything goes black, minus headlights and select bits of interior. Black will also help make the bodykit more subtle, instead of the In your Face it is atm.

Im near Portobello Jon, My K20'd civic was around bathgate livi alot, i only moved to Edinburgh in April, and this car has been in the garage for 98% of the time getting rebuilt etc.

so you are running built b16 turbo with stock ecu with FMU to compensate for the fuel ?

pretty much! so for any kind of decent power and boost, im going to need some proper injectors, which was only pointed out to me today by my mechanic working on the car.
So list as follows,
New Ecu + Mapped, Screamer Pipe, New HKS Exhaust system (or make a custom one)
700ish CC injectors. Maybe a turbo timer if i have pennies to spare.
hoping to see over 400bhp tbf.

best way to run the engine in is to strap it on the dyno, proper management, and tune it how its meant to be tuned. Prolonged running in periods are only bad for the engine in the long run.

well your prolly right, but doesnt mean that the car is running bad, its been dyno'd its running steady low boost, fuel is spot on, nothing wrong with it.
In all honesty makes sense why its at its current state, it was mapped with more parts in mind, so when the parts do get fitted, new ecu and a proper Map. sorted.
