there are the same price and probably very similar in design, just looking opinions from people that have them to decide on one or the other? :please:

Bc are better slightly and cost more
both are made in taiwan.

I've had both and preferred the Meister R's by a long shot. I feel like i have no suspension atall with my BC's and my car isn't even sitting low!

Meister R zeta S for the road and occasional trackday
Meister R super race for the track

BC for the track, damping is too high for our roads

Meisters here. :nice: yet to hear a bad review.

Where as I have personally seen spherical bearings work loose and rattle on EP3 BCs.

Also found Jeric was always quick and helpfull when I was inquiring with questions before I bought my zeta S's

nice, was steering towards them before. Simply because there was more info about them.

Have had MeisterRs for 4 years, can't put a foot wrong, no issues, excellent coilovers,

Bit pricy now, u get what u paid for, only thing is they seize after a while but guess most do that anyway.

another question about each, can someone confirm that the miester R zeta s come with aluminium top mounts with a hardened rubber bush? Also that the BC coilovers for the ek come with rubber top mounts or no top mounts and are not aluminium like the misters? The BC website is very confusing as to what each coilover actually consists of.

edit looked online at pictures of the BC coilovers and they show the same alu top mounts with the rubber bush as the misters1?!

bump, any more views. Still undecided between the two. Cant get any proper info on the BC's and the different types if coilovers they have as the pictures on the website don't represent the right car type.

Haha both and id say there evenly matches in performance, but miesters were comfyier the bc in everyday driving.

As I understand it, they are much of a muchness in terms of construction, but MeisterRs seem to have better damper valving and customer support.

If it was my money, MeisterR would be getting it.

:notbad: fair enough. was thinking about 8/5 bc's but if the valving is better on the miesters ill swoop for them! :nerv:

I run BC's and can't fault them at all. Not too harsh for daily driving but really impressed when hitting corners fast. After being in my mates teg with meisters they seem similar.

It'll probably come down to how much price difference the two are.

My friend has Meisters in his EK, And I really like them, good ajustabilty in both height and damping and the car feel's safe and solid when driving it. I think I'd have them over my Tein HA's to be honest, another friend put BC's in his MK5 Golf and it was pretty harsh to sit even in a Golf and the spherical Top mount bearings shat themselves. I would go for the MeisterR's.

Wether they're harsh can also be a matter of adjustment and chosen springrates ;)

Meisters every time for me. Had zeta r in my old ek and zeta s in my ek9 the now and both sets have been amazing, super comfy when set soft and handle unreal on max stiff.
Would deffo recommend them any day

As other have said... should anything goes wrong we are actually on the forum to provide supports. :)

So if anyone got a questions, I am only a PM away.

Jerrick

Iv'e had both, and both were great value for money and performance, the only way I would choose again would be which ever was in stock and ready to post first!
