Used to have an ep91 aswell. Loved it. Was around the 170bhp mark and was pretty quick.
my type R stock was even with Gary(PP member)'s old 170BHP GT then 4th gear i started ever so slightly edging him. My EK9 now beats 200BHP GT's without too much problem especially on the motorway.
thats impressive dan for a stock type r you pp members dont half build big motors your slogan should be GO BIG OR GO HOME or BE PUKKA OR BE A SUKKA

Custom solid engine mounts,

custom gear linkages
Custom piping
Custom drivehsafts
Custom pedal box
N/A celica ST185 gearbox(slightly smaller to give clearance on tire)
Used half MR2 and half starlet wiring loom.
Thats a quick brief of a few things.
Alot alot of work involved and alot of money, you could save a bit obviously doing the work yourself but parts alone very expensive.
Allow money for a mappable ECU too. I opted for the Motec which wasnt exactly cheap.
Then obviously you need some good brakes and suspension set up to.
Most wont go for this conversion as you can build a nice 5EFTE engine and easily get over 300BHP with decent drivability. The 2.0liter is amazing though, so much bloody torque for a tiny car.
Thats a crazy amount of work Dan! Well done getting yours to that level mate, I love starlets!
I suppose the work you put into get the 2.0litre into your starlet is the about the same as putting a k20 into an ek9!
