As I said earlier this thing destroys my 9 and Its only running low boost at the moment (0.7 Bar)
He's getting it mapped shortly and is looking to run high boost at 1.4 Bar! (personally I think he's mad)

Any one wanna take a guess what power its gonna make?? I'll let You all no the outcome when he gets it back from the tuners
 
also had a gt with hybrid ct9 and supporting mods. should have been pushing around 190bhp

Spec:

MR2 turbo engine(rev 3) 245bhp stock engine

Mods:
Uprated air filter
full exhaust system/decat
uprated intercooler
Custom ali Rad
Motec ECU management
stock CT20 Turbo running 1.2BAR (when its running normally and not over boosting)

Thats just engine mods, theres tonnes of custom work that went into this.

It was dynod @289BHP/310lbs torque @1bar boost. Its alot faster running 1.2 bar so i easily estimate 320/330BHP and equal if not more torque.

Get some of the vids up Dan. this car is absolute craziness. thats Craig from tgtt.com's gt next to mine. which wee-jo now owns and is in the middle of a forged rebuild :)

not bad power, 0-60 around the 7 seconds mark, quarter mile in around 15.5-16 seconds stock.

Handling is ok for town driving but you will want to uprgrade suspension and brakes if you want to start hitting b roads etc....

Like others have already said, the ek9s are far more superior, but there is just something a lil bit special about starlets, which bring a smile to your face whenever you drive them:cool:

na they were just after a nosey mate , told me my car shouldnt have had an intercooler .
 
Lol I have an ep82 to :D Its funny tho how many people swap between the two, I'm just lucky we have both so I don't have to lol :D
