Nice Starlet Glanza engine..


i also own a glanza mine has a tdo4 turbo like the 1 mentioned above

great cars and alot faster than you think

just really fancy a change so looking at getting an ek9

You and me both,

I own both cars!

To put it simply the EK9 feels and is 100 times better built, feels much safer and handles far better.

But there is something about starlets i love, cant put my finger on it. They feel soo fun to drive like really quick shopping trolleys!
 
I like the way it looks and I love turbo's. But the interior is shite :p And no LSD ;)
 
some do have lsd:)

I know this feeling! I know for a fact the ek9 is quicker better to drive, handles much better and is better finished! But i really miss my starlet! :D I think the fact that people look at it and think haha a starlet, granny car! Then you scream past with a "pssshhhht" from the BOV! The look on their faces is priceless!
 
a mate of mine has one....totally stripped...aftermarket ecu/intake/exhaust/header etc.
is quick as hell!! the 9 doesnt stand a chance! but id stick with the 9 anyday! ;)
 
it's a great little car!! And it can handle pretty well at corners with minor changes.
 
My brother has owned a Starlet for around 3 years. I'll get some pics up when I get a chance. He totally hammers my supercharged 9!!
 
ya they are cool was goin to buy a gt starlet for a while but bought my 9 instead but i know of two in my area that up arond 300bhp but they always break down tho
 
Lol yeah I no, my brothers on his 3rd engine!! Fully forged now thou so we'll see how long this one lasts!

2.0litre Turbo(Rev 3 MR2 engine inside) :)

At the moment it at around 320BHP/310lbs+ torque on stock engine. Next year i should be running around 500WHP
