LCA Choice?

Hey guys,

Im on the look out to buy a Pair of rear LCA's(Lower control arms)

My question is,

Is there actually a difference between the different aftermarket one, I.e makes etc? Or do they pretty much all do the same job regardless of make and should pretty much be decided on which colour or what you think looks best? As the price does range a fair bit, but that may be due to the name.
 
Not had any to compare Dan, but having compared my Eibach/SPC camber/toe stuff to other makes, Im sure build quality/design is an issue, so when I change mine it will be to Eibach and they wont be in any garish colours to attract magpies. Others with direct contact will no doubt comment soon.
 
well i would prefer to buy from UK if possible....

Ive seen a pair of STD Racing LCA's going for a good price within my budget as i dont really wana spend too much on them....

If its better then stock and looks nice that will do me, But if an aftermarket pair can be very poor then i will avoid.....

Have you heard of STD Racing?

What about the D2 Racing LCA? Would you say they are any good as i know generally D2 make is more of a copie, low budget make.... But with LCA's, can you really go wrong?

Hehe colour is a personal choice I guess, but as I have said in other posts...I wouldnt touch D2 kit.
 
yeah i bought D2 coilovers a couple of years back for my starlet(back then D2's were very new) And im not entirley impressed with their performance....

Has anyone heard of STD Racing?
 
Skunk 2 lower control arms are fantastic. This is coming from my buddy with 260whp gsr..!
 
blox, skunk, omni, are all trash imo, all there stuff uses crap bushings that crack. If i was to buy a new set it would be either MFactory with the spherical bearings or Function7.
 
Ive got Function 7s. Work great for me. Didnt bother to try any other ones since blinx keeps posting there all trash. Haha :nice:
