LCA Choice?

As Dan has commented though, importing the good kit can be an arse - PIC/MF/F7.

Blinx whats your opinion on PasswordJDM LCA's? Also seem to have the spherical bearing like M Factory..

i would love some function 7's
using skunk 2 atm and not very impressed tbh, bushes went so quick
got another set of bushes free directly from skunk so going to carry on untill i can spare some cash for f7 :)

Well guys ive bought a pair of STD Racing LCA's

They were not overly pricey so i thought why not... I will post pictures once they are Fitted...

Cheers for your input people :nice:

Oh 1 more thing,

Are these easy to fit? Do you need to take suspension components off? Or can you do it all from underneath by just undoing bolts on existing and replaing with new LCA?

I would have to say Eibach's LCA's are worth the money. They are not only an LCA but they are a little shorter than the stock LCA. They do this so it helps pull the bottom of the wheel in helping correct your camber. These used in conjunction with the upper camber arms you can get your camber to factory specs. You can get Eibachs in red, blue,or silver. Bushings last up to 80k according to Eibach so thats longer than most of us will own the car.

We are based in the uk and can ship next day if you want a set.

That sounds like the SPC arms, perhaps they work together on this? If so those are excellent arms, only problem i have i seen is in racing applications since they pull in the bottom of the wheel by .5" you have to add .5" to camber to correct it, now you want to run negative camber at the track and you start to run out of adjustment because you already used up .5" to get things back to zero. But there machining/quality/fitment is outstanding. And this is only a problem if you run lots of negative camber in the rear.

SPC and Eibach I think either work together or one of them owns the other because lots of Eibach parts come with the SPC logo on the box.

I can see the camber part being an issue for track use never thought of it that way. But for street applications it comes in handy to keep down tire wear.

Hi guys, can anyone anwser my question :) Looking to fit these today as i have a day off..

well i did a set on an ej6 before and it was pretty straight forward.. just needed to put a block of wood under the lca in the middle after boltin into the frame and bottom of the shock to get it up enough to slide the bolt into the last hole on the stub... sholudnt be much different on the ek9.. hope the helps.. wouldnt imagine u'll run into too many probs with it..
