Just got my EK9 here she is...

Looks super clean mate, well in. Loving the plate aswell

You should have went for some uprated brake pads bud, get more out of the brakes.

The Blue Print pads will be fine for the rears on the track and the front's ok for your first couple of track days. But they will cook up front once you start getting brave.

The uprated mounts seem very harsh when cold and is fast running in the morning. When engine up to temp they feel a lot better. You will love them when you start driving hard. Some how they make the car feel so much more responsive.

The Spoon N1 may just about be bearable as you are running the OEM B pipe and cat.

Looks really clean buddy nice one. What make you choose the spoon N1?

Thanks I was torn between a mugen twin loop and the N1 at first but I had read about alot of people running the N1 and it seems to get good reviews (if a little loud at times):naughty: so I thought I would go for it if turns out that its just too much for a daily or gets unwanted attention then im sure that there are plenty of people that would snap it up, so overall seemed a pretty safe bet. Perhaps its just a part you really have to try.

Thanks for the info thats sort of what I was thinking as far as track performance goes Im sure the limitations will be from the driver rarther than the car at this stage. Im sure I can put up with some vibration form the mounts for an improvement in overall feel which is what im going for.

I dont plan on getting a decat as I dont think its worth the hassle with MOT and police(for me) as its a daily and I dont think ill be hitting the track as much as some people manage to. I plan to eventually change the full system including manifold but as I said if an N1 is too much noise then I may look at other routes.

Loooking good so far Matt ;)

That N1 is gonna be loudddddddddd  :D

Thanks for the nice comments guys. Glad the plate has recieved positive response as I know private plates can divide opinions. Ill let you all know how I go with the N1 driving to work when I get round to fitting it.:p

I love your car mate! Very clean and tidy and some nice sensible mods! How much did you pay for it, can you pm me if you dont mind? Thanks

Thanks Im glad you like it not alot that needs to be done to these cars as Honda did such a good job to start with :) . I got my car through Duncan (type-r-dunk) on here he gets quite a few in so your see in his for sale section the kind of prices that different ages and milages go for, it came fully registered with an MOT, tax and speedo conversion to MPH so ready to go straight away:)).

Another Update

Picked up 5 Litres of Landrover MTF94 as I doubt that the oil has been changed before but even if it has It cant do any harm to refresh it.

Few more parts arrived in the post the other day :)

Cant wait to get these on the car and get a full alignment done :)
Only a few more bits to come and she'll be ready to hit the track.

Looks lush mate, your certainly not hanging around with parts! Make sure your at the next ek9.org meet.

Thanks Ian.
I’ve made a quick start because I had been saving up before I got the car. I wont be buying any more things for a while now as ill need to recover from christmas and various family birthdays in the next few months but there is more planned ;) Just at a slower pace I think. :)

I'm defiantly up for getting to some meets and getting to know some people my goal is to make it to one of the EK9.org Nurburgring trips and tour as many of the UK tracks as possible but that's a long term goal.
