Not really pal, havnt had time to play recently as using every hour of the day to get the miles in. Didn't get the knockhill sadly! Planning for knockhill on the 1st, maybe the 5th too and 21st.

Will deffo be going in September as I wont be training for anything immediately. :nice:

Where is this car located? So I can come and steal those front wings!

Picked her up at the weekend with a lovely trip home to see the family. All in all a awesome weekend. Pictures can do the talking though :)

Weather is far to bad to get a video, but I feel it is equally as fast as my old b20 (even with it producing less power, but very similar torque) - I recon the FD upgrade is to thank there. Will see this Saturday and what times I can get around KH.

Handles far far better than before with the wider wheels/tyres, new camber/toe settings, turn in response is incredible and just feels it can go more and more. Its quite unbelievable to be honest.

the new addition

Awesome bud.

Wish I was not working on sat or I would have came up to k'hill to watch.

Love this ek9! Best '9er on the forum. What ecu you running with that dash?

Cheers bud!

Im using a aem series 2 ems - however the dash can be run from any ecu/sensors as it has its own processing module, which the inputs (oil press, temp, water, egt, boost etc) go to before being fed onto the dash

Holy shitballs!

Alex approves of this? :)

Shame man, would of been good to catch up! I may be about sun to watch the drifting aswell. Think after this weekend she needs to hibernate as she dont like the weather much! haha

why on earth did you remove bigger and wider discs to fit spoons?

when i went from spoons up to the 300mm brembos, the difference was the same as going from oem to spoon!

besides that...... looking good man! get videos at kh for sure

Looking tidy mate, videos of KH I hope! :drive:

Definitely will be! :p Touch wood the weather is fair.

To be honest mate, I hated the pedal feel/travel. Sometimes/rarely the pedal went in further for the brakes to work - MC/lines were bled 3/4 times. Used serveral litres of RBF600 - such a waste :((

Didn't fill me or the guys at AME with any confidence, so went with 298 discs and spoons as Alcon were dicking me about sadly.

Very nice Wazer. VeRy!

What FD are you running? Also if you dont mind me asking, what throttle body have you installed; size/make?

Regarding the Spoon monoblocks...I have tracked with them several times now. They are holding up very well. They are not as "good" as the Brembos that I have due to the smaller pad surface area. However, the Spoons are good enough for some serious track time, dont get me wrong. The smaller pad size does get to temp much faster. There seems to be a weird getting to temp stage, with my setup, which seems to loose brake response/fade, but them comes right back [carbotech xp8 pads are what I am using]. It might be the disks getting up to proper temps??? IDK, Very weird. Anywho--you are going to love your new calipers.

Touching on what stevenEK9 said about smaller disks, even with your new smaller setup, you will be hard pressed to over heat those disks with your weight/power car. Ive yet to activate the 2nd of three color strips on the disk, for heat. :))
