OMG how cold are these ek9 gear knobs in this weather :nono:!

Dunx

I thought at first "Why the hell is he askin that?" Then I thought for a second, "OOOHHHH shift knob" :p

My EJ6 has an S2000 knob so I have some leather to grab. It's better than grabbing a frying pan hot knob in the summer. Having the cheaper OEM all vinyl or whatever the hell it's made of knob is worse than the S2000 one. Strangely, the leather on the S2000 knob is much cooler to the touch in the summer and warmer in the winter than the vinyl knob BUT I have to watch out. The top and bottom part is still aluminum and in the summer, it's painfully hot and the winter, it's just kinda cold.

get the gloves on people :nice:

my skunk2 and mugen "Fit" gearknob are as cold as oem ek9 ones but the
mugen one seems to warm up quicker ......very slightly thou!

indeed very cold, i have a momo leather wrapped knob i used to switch to when it was too hot or too cold, here in socal when its 110 degrees F outside, the knob gets too hot to touch!!
