Update
Not really an update as such just some bad news.
Took the car to a meet last sunday that was on the 5th floor of a multi story car park in Livingston around 30 miles from Glasgow as it was pissin with rain all day. So got there no probz parked up and that, meet was quiet so me and my pal went for a munch and that. When we returned and were ready to leave the car wouldnt start.. I was like "eh ?" Had 4 ek9's and never had a non start before so checked all the usual suspects but seemed like an imobiliser fault as the fuel pump wasnt priming and wasnt getting a spark. So spent like 3 hours on the car whilest on the phone to a honda techy, tried all sorts but still nothing and the car park was closing soon so had to just leave it there overnight although spoke with security and they had a camera watching it all night so that was cool.
Next morning got a lift down (cheers wishy) with loads of tools to crack on with it again. Same as before on the phone to Andrew Baird of Automek most of the day, disconnected the alarm/immobiliser tried bypassing everything etc managed to get the fuel pump priming by bypassing it at the main relay but the injectors still werent firing and no spark so another 6 hours or so went by trying everything and anything still nothing so came to the last resort, called my mate dan (jordan101) to bring his recovery truck down to take the car to Automek but still lay the problem we were up 5 storys in a multi story carpark. So Dan brought the truck down and the 3 of us (me dan and wishy) began trying to push the car down the 5 storys, in any other car this would of been no bother but my diff is savage and just locks the wheels up as soon as you tryin steer so this made it near impossible ! So anyway got it to the bottom and onto the truck and took it to Automek where Andy Baird started checking everthing out, we were there for 3.5 hours this took it to 11:00pm and we had to leave but Andy stayed working on the car till 4:00am !!!
So the next day got a call saying it was the ecu, water had leaked into the passenger footwell and contaminated it, basicly frying it
Good news was though found the coil was needing replaced so had that done and a new rotor arm as well plus a complete wiring overhall throughout the whole car which resulted in some plugs/wiring needing replaced so now i know all the wiring etc is 100%
Plugged the old tegR ecu back in and the car is running again although will have to source another obd1 ecu as the other one got fried lol but good news is i think the chip with the map on it is ok so will just be a matter of having the chip swapped over to another ecu and she should be good as new.
This belive it or not is the short version of the story haha was LOADS more ball ache etc along the way but thats how she sits at the mo. Once another obd1 is sourced and the chip fitted it'll be all good.
Anyway couple snaps from before i knew it wasnt gonna start lol
Sorry rant over haha
