Gavs B18c EK9..


It should defo make 200+bhp mate with the specs and the motor. The dyno and bhp is just a figure as you say, the real test is how well it goes on the road/track :nice:
 
Update

ok went to tripple h on saturday and had the apexi vafc removed and the obd1 ecu socketed and fitted along with the jumper harness from h-tune.

Max power 197.6bhp at 7852

Max torque 136.5 at 6169

Slightly shy of the 200bhp mark but still good power and torque for a b18c1 and goes so much better now, not that it was slow before lol. Henry said he could of spent more time on it and squeezed out another few hp's but i'm happy with it so happy days :D

Whoever mapped it before on the apexi was a complete nugget, car was SERIOUSLY overfulling hence all the black smoke on vtec lol but all running sweet now :D
Henry said if i spend a bit of cash on the engine, forged pistons etc i'd easily see 210-215 but dont fancy spending 1500-2000k for the sake of 10-15bhp... the joys of hondas eh ? lol ;)

Sweet pics of the ride :nice: Bet it runs better now after the map, thats a healthy power increase over the stock power from the B18C1, I'd be happy with that :). May even get better economy out of it now its not overfueling :)

yeah miles per gallon is much better was guzzling like fook before.
Yeah happy with the power man, had a play with a stock (bolt on's) dc2 the other night and mine is quicker ;) and he said i was spitting flames on the motorway :wow: haha

What I want to know is how the hell did my EK9 (stock B16B) make 206bhp and 134tq on the same rollers last Nov? Could it be due to weather temp and stuff?
