Ek4 / Ek9 Synchro's ???

Hey Guys...

I am in the process of rebuilding my gearbox with M Factory Gearing.. I would like to know if the b16a2 Ek4 Synchro's are the same as the Ek9 Box ???

The reason for this is its an Ek4 Box im rebuilding, however I will be using my Ek9 chassis code to order internal parts..

Any idea's ???

Cheers for that mate !!! - Did you manage to get prices ?? Mr Honda charges a small fortune for synchros huh !! - I nearly collapsed when the parts desk came back with the invoice !! haha...

not yet mate, got to e mail them soon, just had a big spending spree on clutch and all bearings etc from honda, need to be payed again before ordering:((

the price i got from honda was just short of 275 if i remember correct, that was for 3/4 and 5/reverse syncro sets.

not cheap,
 
Hey Guys....

Just an update, lol I just decided to splash the cash and go for all new synchros / bearings / seals / selectors !!! £800 in total !!!! Damm this box has cost me over £3000 :nono: !!!!
 
GL with the gearbox build and make sure you get some one that knows what there doing to put them in.
 
Might be a bit too late to mention this, but we've just released our Carbon-Moly Synchros (replaces the oem synchro rings. Gives smoother/faster shifting) :)

are these just to replace the brass syncro rings, or is it a complete syncro kit (rings,hub,spring clips etc)
