Crashed My EK9


sickening to see and hope you find out who other driver was

if you need shell gimme a shout as have near mint black 1 but bare (cheap and fully registered with v5), you have to transfer everything over but im basically chopping it up weekend so limited time, have no where to store so cant keep it myself

Although it wont replace my car, it still does mean a lot! The community we have on EK9.org is so supportive especially considering im quite a 'new member' of the forum.

As already stated I will not be re-shelling! I'd appreciate if people read previous posts before asking the same questions!

Another option I have now considered is - If the insurance company give me a bad payout quote! I may cancel the claim with them and ask Teigwa Imports how much they would give me as a 'trade in'. However im not sure if this would still result in me loosing my NCB!

Has anyone else had any experiences with a 'write off' if so how well did the insurance company, deal with the situation and pay-out etc?

Lucky to practically walk away too! :) . Not many people do.. even a serious injury could ruin your life!

. Anyways the important thing is that you and your friend are fine. And I know its not the right time but I have a freshly imported 9 for sale its a grade 4 import something what Dunc would have. If you get to keep the wreck and have all the parts which are good under that I mean 5lug kit, recaros , cluster, so basicly everything. If you give those to me I can give you my 9 real cheap. Really sorry to hear what happened man..I dont know how people could stay driving..If you were on your own an idjured and they drove on..Some people disgust me..But glad your ok

Yes it was you that I went for my first spin in an EK9 with! Still remember that, thanks! How are you anyway? Did you have any luck selling your '9?

Police were called just incase anyone had seen the car leaving the scene and if they wanted to ask me any questions or breathalize me etc!
This is with the police they are only concerned or get seriously involved when people are seriously injured!

never take the first offer bud,refuse it and get info on current ek9 prices
with ads etc :secret:
i refused two offers when i my crx was stole before taking third which was still
lower than current value!

insurance companys try everyway to "wriggle" out of giving involved a decent
offer,keep at them and i hope you get what you deserve back.

wow that sucks. but as said before, it's "just" metal. glad you and ur mate are okay. That's most important the way i see it. You will find a new one and build it sick mate.
 
No way!!! I checked out the pre-crash pics first and couldn't believe the after crash pic's!!
Breaks my heart to see a 9 wreaked like this, glad to hear your ok fella that really is the main thing but can understand how heart wrenching it is for this to happy to your baby (been there myself). you'll get another one fella!!!
