Civic EG6 SIR2 overhaul.


One of the best EG overhauls i think, i like the way you have kept everything subtle amd not too extreme.

Im thinking of paying Tom a visit to get my Geo set up properly. How much am i looking at you know mate?

Somewhere in the region of £70-£85 but depends on what you want doing.
 
Heard positive things about TGM when it comes to geometry, under £100 is a bargain if you ask me. I need to invest in some front camber arms (skunk 2/cyber speed) and rebush before I set the geo. My teg is coming off the road this winter so might swell do it at once.

chassis wise yours is similar to mine, how does it handle on the road, up here in huddersfield where the roads are total bullshit its very uncomfortable and tramlines alot! but on a smooth road its amazing, great build, one of the best eg builds ive seen! keep it up.

On the road its not to bad since having my coilovers setup correctly by TGM its a lot more comfy (Still nothing like a stock car by no means) on the road yet actually grips and handles better (think i had the dampening set a little too stiff) as for tramlining i think it comes down to the tyre as with my eagle F1's fitted it can get a tad annoying pulling the car everywhere especially on the patch work roads with two different types of tarmac on each side of the same road but i find it does all this when just driving normally and to the speed limits if i drive the car like how i want to you hardly notice it at all but with the R888's fitted the car is a lot better at any speed.
 
First off really really great work on this car mate! looks tip top. I am a fellow eg owner also great to watch this build unfold looks like you have a lot of time and love into it! Ill keep watching cheers!

Mapping got put back to the 19th of November :( but mase is booked for that date so shall look forward to then after which the car will be coming off the road for winter and come back next year with a few more surprises :)
 
Thanks guys, Think this is the only forum that people really appreciate what i have done with the car, on the other forums because its not Low Slow and Bling no one's really interested so thanks :)
