also velocity inside the exhaust creates a suction effect that will also help pull out gases more efficiently then having more mass in your pipes.

i have a buddy club spec 2 people have been telling me its bad cuz it has no back box is this true? the exaust sounds good in vtec
nvm... I found out
2.36" lol
all this time I thought I had a 2.25" system. When I measured it, the external was dead on 2.5".... so damn suprised me. internal is 2.36"
Thats probally why theres so much difference on my bottom end compared to my stock DC2R B18C. Theres a lot more ballz in my DC2R.
your dc2r is also a 1.8 .11" in diameter is not going to make any loss or serious gain enough for you to feel it...
what about if u just knock the cat though then. will this have the same affect as having new de cat pipe?
wot about the Fujitsubo RM01A Exhaust wot size is that???
Hey Blinx, I've just signed up on here for a nosey really, as I love the EK9, and your thread was the first one I read. I have a Accord type R or Euro R in the states with the H22A7 and will be getting a custom cat-back made up in the next few weeks.
Would a 3" system really give more gains than say 2.5"?? I always thought 3" was a waste and too big on N/A cars??
