So after a drive today I noticed that the car was idling between 2 and 3k revs. Took a quick play around to discover the throttle body isn't fully releasing after being pressed , but when I took the cable that leads into the firewall off it's mounts that it was releasing but a little to much...

Hoping somebody can help me with this , Put a short shifter into the civic today but it seems to stick out more than the oem one at the bottom so now the linkage is catching my exhaust and grinding , anyone have this problem or any ideas what to do ? This makes gear changes almost impossible
