Low Mpg

So wondering if someone can help .As the title says I seem to be getting 18 mpg on average from my b16a with basic mods , this can't be right so wondering if there's anything that could be causing this ?

I get approx 22mpg in my b16b. No engine mods lol

I'm getting 38mpg from b16a from my saloon which is heavier.
That's not even Eco driving so there's definitely something up with your engine.
You tried an ECU reset?

Well a lot of my driving is on the motorway so It can't be right , I've changed to a power-r ecu still getting the same mileage

chances are the 02 sensor has started to give up ! replacing it should make a good difference

Basic service can help aswell:

- New oil and filter
- New fuel filter
- New Air filter
- New sparkplugs
- New distributor cap and rotor

And I get and easy 38-40 MPG out of my SiR EK with breathing mods with a mixture of driving.

Felt like I gained about 10bhp and already noticing a difference in fuel consumption !
