Wilwood 4 pots problem

Im after ek9 mc and servo. as i show on photo one of conections goes straight and the other its on another side...im thinking go to hidraulic store to make conection of right side pump to car conection...its plausible?

The wilwoods with the 4.12sq./in piston area seem to be the best suited.

Next smallest is 3 sq./in , next biggest is the 4.80sq./in

What Banjo bolts you using? I brought some DO-LUCK hoses for my old ep3 and it came with new bolts, bled the brakes for 2 hours because i was getting a soft pedal when engine was running and i was baffled! Put OEM banjo bolts back in and problem solved.

Which ones are they, I thought the ones Freaky supplied were either 38mm (3.5in) or 45mm (4.8in)?

i dont know wich ones he suplys i will look tomorrow.

as for banjo's im using standard ones had to cut them in half though that wouldnt be the problem though surely ?

wierd if it is....

Anyway you not reckon the ITR or CTR will be big enough ? what about a wilwood MC but how do you adapt to the Helper unit ( big black thingie ) lol

mite be worth taking all this info and stickying it so that future peeps wanting to do the swapsys on brakes will know

How come? I tried the ones from my old EK4 calipers and I could screw them the whole way in so it's not like they're too long. But not, can't imagine it'd cause a problem as long as you have a decent amount of thread left there.

My oem banjo/bolt fits with any cut on wilwood.

Freaky change the treads from npt to oem honda bolt screw

usually freaky suply 1.75"/44.5mm piston bore size

standard banjo'sare too long basicly you canscrew them up but it doesnt allow the fluid to go through the caliper.

Freaky didnt tell me anything about that...samyb and ashy do you cut oem banjo bolt?

i didnt cut at all

he does usualy change the threadon the wilwoods so the standard banjo's fit from what he said me just he was running late with my kit and needed it because i'd got a track day that i wanted to go too

I have braided lines on mine, unsure what banjo bolt is being used, I used the one that was on the car, don't know if the banjo is different and was changed during the braided lines being fitted

If you're fitting the standard banjos, we normally tap the thread to M10x1, as the standard banjo fits the caliper that way without modifications.
If you're having new hoses, we usually include the adaptor from M10x1 to 1/8-27 NPT thread, but neither should need the banjo or adaptor cutting to fit.

The problem is more likely the MC on the EK4 being smaller than the EK9. The piston aread with the 44.5mm diameter pistons is larger, so will give a longer pedal travel.

yeah i'm sure it's the MC .

but seriously i if i didnt cut my Banjo bolts they would not fit they would tighten up flush etc but the brakes did not work. as soon as i shortend them they worked fine well apart from the pedal feel.

but yeah i dunno wether my banjo bolts were longer than standard as i didnt get new ones with my goodridge lines but the ones i had didnt fit lol. the thread was fine though i can screw them in by hand on mine. and you said you hadnt done the thread.
