Thief on the EK9.org


When people on here got done with the carbon baseplate/spoiler group buy Him520, paypal did step in for me, but the terms for me to get my money back was obscene. I was one of the lucky ones whos baseplate did arrive, albeit 6 weeks late.

I raised a dispute with paypal, and in order to get my money back (£100 or so), I had to send my item back to Hong Kong within a certain time (5 working days)…now that was going to cost me upwards of £300.
 
also worth noting you got rode on the price on the first place....

ek9 cams are worth £120/€150 max

^^^^^ in sorry but how did u come to this conclusion are you saying that you can tell if someone's dodgy buy there name??? Or because its an Asian name?? If so that would be completley bang out of order mate.
If the guy has scammed the OP then yes he deserves all the abuse he can get and more, but not because of wot he's called, I'm sorry but uve hit a nerve there mate!!

Probably the full stops? Only thing dodgy with that user is the post count.

People have questioned several times about why is the 250 post count necessary. The scenario that the OP is in clearly ends these questions. Think we need to up the post count just to be extra vigilant, not only saying this just because I have 100000 posts lol. 250 is quite fair tbh anyway.
 
Names can be a give away aswell a post counts, and many other little subtle clues.

And to the above I had a massive to do with PayPal trying to get my money and never did cause the could not reclaim the fund from the seller.

why are you stereo typing all scammers as asian, surely mahmood is an arab name or Pakistani, regardless i get what your saying. To the op hopefully paypal can do something for you but if the seller has already removed the money and wasnt a verified user i would doubt it :nono:
 
You guys are taking rd55 Duns comment out of context.
He doesn't mean ther actual name. obviously he means ther user like I'd be suspicious if ther name was basically a bunch of random numbers, or a name generated by the forum and not a self chosen one.
 
I had this happen to me about 2 years ago from a member from this forum with 300+ post counts, Just tell them you were scammed, it shouldn't really be an issue trying to get your money back.
 
Lessons to be learned do NOT pay via give unless you trust the user because if you do get scammed there is absolutely no way to get your money back.

If the item never got to you its the sellers problem so paypal should give you your money back. They give you your money back and they will chase the guy for the money then. I had a similar experience to this about 8 months ago.

They should, but they won't. I got nowhere with my disupte when 'EKSiR' aka Rob McIntyre (weapons grade c!nt) took £60 for an alternator he never sent.

Dispute it anyway, and good luck with it, but do
Not assume you will be reimbursed.
 
scamers are on all sites, not only here, or that they are new here...they just troll here [and else-where]asking silly questions, posting other peoples cars, getting their post counts up...its not hard to do. Or even simply waiting until a newer user asking for info on parts, then PM that person offering up parts for sale.

Selling parts should be locked down to only vendors or paid membership status to halt this sort of stuff...or a percentage of the sale? Something should be done.

Also, as soon as they scam someone, they disappear, kind-of, what they really do is re-reg as a different person. Back in business!

I read the guys user name as "cam.Ali.mahmoodek4", having two full stops is why i assumed it may of been dodgy.

Certainly no intention of any racist comment, i am not a racist.

Sorry, and apologies, no intention to cause offence to anyone.
