It really pains me to do this, but the time has come for me to finally part with my beloved EK9... She's just sitting gathering dust these days anyway.
I'm sure many newer members here won't recognise me or know my car, but there's plenty of older members who can vouch for both me, my EK9, and the loving care, hours and extreme wedges of cash I bestowed upon her at every available opportunity. In fact I think you'll find that even now, ijwhiteman's signature still contains something of my legacy.
Now, I would really like to be able to sell the car as a whole, as it'd save:
A. Further heartache at having to pull the car to pieces
B. Me investing even more blood, sweat and tears into her
C. Having the money for her come in in dribs and drabs
But, since the money I make from selling this car will fund me buggering off to Asia on the adventure of a lifetime (read: not working for as long as possible) and since I have been working my arse off pretty much non stop since the age of 15 (I'm 27 now) I would like for this romantic little adventure of mine to last as long as possible. More money from the car = more cash for me = more wild adventures and memories that will be with me for the rest of my life. Simples.
So, having looked over the figures, I'm gonna have to go down the route of parting her out. So for all you parts hounds out there, there's gonna be a lot of very special bits up for sale, as long as any standard gubbins (yes, I kept every standard part too - that's how an*l I am!) that you might want.
