What is the craze with spoon ? i think a lot of there stuff is ****.

Agreed......I've seen tie bars break, their 4 pot calipers are made by Nissin automotive with 'SPOON' printed on them and consequently MASSIVELY OVERPRICED, their seat rails are from what I hear regarded to be uncomfortable and you feel like you are sliding off the seat, etc etc....

I very rarely see people investing in the more expensive stuff....no doubt because you can purchase better products with more competitive pricing, predominantly it's just a name as far as I can tell.....
 
But when spoon build up their cars they seem to do a good job of it?

Unless they are useing different parts themselves lol

No that's what I was trying to say.....the cheaper parts that make little or no difference to engine power or performance are stupidly overpriced and not manufactured to the greatest level......

Noone seems to invest (not that I have come across anyway) in the more expensive products on their line, such as the engine overhaul, stroker kits, cylinder heads, LSD's etc......because they are so expensive, and for the money you would spend on a 'Spoon' item......you could purchase a similar item with the same or better proven gains or quality for cheaper no doubt!

I'm sure if you had an unlimited budget and kitted out your car entirely with Spoon products it would perform well.......but it would be a lot of £££'s for what you would eventually achieve, and could easily be done for cheaper!
 
well, I think that maybe for some reasons that some spoon products are crap because there are a lot of fake replica's out there.
