Hey all, Well I havent got my ek9 yet lol, but buying little things,

Tein Coilovers
Rear Strut
K & N Panel Filter
Spoon Socks
Locking Wheel Nuts
Philips Extreme Bulbs
Decat
Spoon N1
Master Cylinder Brace
Red Stiched Gaiter

also got all my stuff for the service,

So anything else people suggest?!

i bought one and couldn't really tell the difference.

How about braided lines or uprated pads?

An odyssey PC-545 MJT battery. I saved 18.5 pounds by stitching to this lightweight drycell. Just make sure to keep your stock battery for winter.
Odyssey PC545

Set of denso iridium plugs to go with the service?

Have u budgeted for a cam belt change? always worth doing if it hasnt been done especially with the mileage most of these cars are coming in at.

yeh cambelt bought already :) 1st thing getting done! do iridium plugs make much difference? was just going to get standard ones

Standard plugs good enough. Tuck it away & save a bit more or spend it on a track evening...Brands £99 :)

I had to change my denso iridium for standard plugs coz the denso were wrecked, and tbh didnt notice much difference if any. But then again the iridiums fooked lol

How about some cheap mods like painting brake calipers and maybe waxoyl behind the bumpers etc??

or keep in incase of an emergency if something breaks......

You wont notice a difference by changing plugs the denso iridium are supposed to give a more reliable spark and last for ages but I guess in your case not, Ive used them with no problems when I had my eg6's.

Were they all knackerd or just one?

I know HKS plugs are just denso plugs in a HKS box with a more expensive price tag  and I think spoon plugs are denso too but not 100% on that.

Like you say though you cant go wrong with the standard plugs which are platinum I think.

waterpump, tensioner and tensioner spring to go with your camblet :nice:

other than that then maybe some other service bits?! dizzy cap, rotor arm, fuel filter, oil filter, oil, mtf, coolant, plugs :)

wait until you get your car £100 would get you a set of trailing arm bushes or somthing else that you may need to do soon after getting the car :)

yes thats very true mate! also I think im going to save it for getting 4 wheel alignment once i get the car!

You could buy a good few bottles of Autoglym polish with 100pounds LOL What about a alarm or immobiliser of some sort even a good steering lock might be worth while investing in if you hav'ent got something already

also i woudl drive the car standard for at least one month then you will be able to see any improvements form your modifications

save money to buy 4 new tyres! jap tyres are usually crap in uk conditions.

looks like it will be going on insurence lol price seems to have gone up alot since my 1st qoute month ago :(
