SOLD Not so EK9; tama666

My vote goes to mugen twin loop, I had one and I loved the sound!

That is what I am thinking...

Nice motor Larry! :nice:

Ditch the Teins and get the Koni's on. Superstreets are below average street suspension with dodgy adjustment repeatability and tendency to leak even when relatively new (mate had to have one replaced with 4000 miles on it). Not much cop for someone of your level. :D

Everyone should run double adjustables...it is how it should be really...:p

Found 2 issues this morning, one fog light is blown and the cruse control will not turn on but I am sure I am not doing something right...have a message into the previous owner. but if this is all that is wrong with the car Im happy!

What I would give to have anything adjustable right now, or even enough money for the trackday all my mates are going on this weekend... :(

^^^Give it some time, im sure you have your hands full with your new kid.

I was able to get the cruse control to work, very nice. :))

The alarm has auto start which is interesting...why and what its for is beyond me.

The folding mirrors can be activated by the remote as well as manually from the dash.
I am liking this imposter more and more. :)

Having the bolt in cage is very reassuring.

Lastly, the S2000 steering wheel is very comfortable, like that very much.

Hi tico_ek9, yeah I am liking the Tein SS's so far.
Haven't played with the settings yet, 16 way single adjustable is what I understand.

Where do you live buddy? We should meet up, definitely.

I can get my hands on B18C's for cheep. I prefer the B18 over the B16 for the torque mainly. Both this and my track car use B18C's, Hatch being legal is a kick in the pants especially in California.

**Found the rev limiter in 5th gear today, lol!

I live Near Turlock the 209.. FB me also tico_ek9@yahoo.com..
Pm me about the B18c please..

Today I looked at the AC setup with the large radiator;
the condenser sits in front of the radiator and low,
has anyone seen this before?

The teins are very nice, played with the dampening adjustments today.
I like them! 25 clicks total adjustment and not the 16 I was expecting.
Super hard is exactly that. But the softest is too soft...running on street at 15 clicks front and rear, very nice teins. :)

I don't want to make you feel bad but the fact that you said GENUINE on parts like that when they are fake makes me so mad. For 5 years, I've been replicating my car into an EK9. Over those 5 years, I have carefully done many researches and inspections on real EK9 parts to tell difference from reals and fakes. The wing is fake because EK9 NEVER came with a THIRD BRAKE LIGHT. In fact, EK9 is one of the few cars in the world to not have a third brake light from the factory. The rear lip is fake because you can tell be 3 things: the main crease that strikes through the middle of the whole lip, the 2 curved edges right at the bottom of the lip, and the way the lip is tucked into the bumper because fake lips are not the same size as real ones (it's a bit smaller). These things may be hard to notice at first but I've been examining so many EKs with fake and real lips that it became second nature, and I don't even have to think twice anymore. Also, go look at your wing carefully. There are more hints that you can tell if it's real. If the black base of the wing has a tiny bump in the middle randomly out of nowhere, it's REAL. The wing itself has 4 distinctive holes behind it on the side (two of them are at the very edge of the wing), it's REAL. If the base of the wing is color coded with the wing, there's an EXTREMELY high chance the wing is FAKE because EK9 wing base is ALWAYS black unless someone repainted it. Where did you even get the idea these were genuine parts from? Did the person you buy it from tell you that? They were lying if they did. If your stuff is fake, then you should put "Civic Type R style rear lip" and "Civic Type R style wing (with brake light)". Sorry, man.

Someone asked me this same question last week so I made a photo for them. The left car has a fake lip and the car on the right has a real lip. Notice the 3 clues I told you.
