A far shot from the coupe track car I run, this has AC and PS to name a few.
This is a daily driver and all comfort features will remain on this puppy.

I will however track this car from time to time as well as change up parts as needed.
Here is what is on slate in the next few weeks.
  • CTR arm rest delete
  • OEM intake box; sans under fender trumpet
  • CTR rear hatch
  • CTR rear 3 privacy windows
  • Oil cooler and thermostat --canceled
  • Baffled oil pan
  • Oil pres. gauge
  • Oil & coolant temp. gauges
  • 4 lug --canceled
  • Monoblock calipers and 2 piece disks --on hold

thanks buddy. The steering wheel was the hook for me with buying the civic. As I was just about to buy an OEM s2k then I ran into this DX...

Another B18 to the collection, I now own 3 ITR power plants and transmissions.
Seeing how this is BARed, I will use this to break in new engines.

Thanks guys!

Does anyone have comments on these parts?

  • Tein Super Street Coilovers??
  • Greddy SP2 exhuast??

Not experienced with Tein very much, I'm thinking Koni 3011's instead, double adjustable.

Greddy SP2 might be to loud? Or is it much like the Apexi WS in loudness?
I was thinking about going quiet, mugen twin loop maybe??

Comments please?

The exhaust is perfect, quiet when I need it to be and very loud at wot.

Its fast with the gearing...very fun!
[4.7 FD Transmission, 1st, 2nd, 3rd gears changed to CTR]

I have Tein Flex it is badass..I here the SS are great also..
Damn Bro This a Hella clean hatch, We should meet up, I got the Jet black twin.. I want feedback on the B18C...How much did you come up that for?

Hi tico_ek9, yeah I am liking the Tein SS's so far.
Haven't played with the settings yet, 16 way single adjustable is what I understand.

Where do you live buddy? We should meet up, definitely.

I can get my hands on B18C's for cheep. I prefer the B18 over the B16 for the torque mainly. Both this and my track car use B18C's, Hatch being legal is a kick in the pants especially in California.

**Found the rev limiter in 5th gear today, lol!

My vote goes to mugen twin loop, I had one and I loved the sound!

Ditch the Teins and get the Koni's on. Superstreets are below average street suspension with dodgy adjustment repeatability and tendency to leak even when relatively new (mate had to have one replaced with 4000 miles on it). Not much cop for someone of your level. :D
