If i can buy expensive brakes maybe i whould prefer the expensive calipers and got cheaper consumible, and for this spoon i think there is huge choice of pads.

Yes, a lot of people don't spend enough effort, time and money on brake setup to allow a true performance civic to be achieved. :)

Many people do that in Portugal...goes for engine power output and cheaper suspension on 260mm brakes and go for trackdays to put throtle down on straights, and like you said this is not the way for a fast Civic.

Good suspension and brakes and you have good time on track to share :blinx:

Your in Portugal? I hear its absolutely beautiful there, lucky man!

Yes, with a proper setup on brakes, suspension, you don't need a ton of power for good track times.

I think its actually better to learn on a car with a proper setup on brakes and suspension prior to HP increase. The driver learns how to carry speed through the bends better which is what a driver wants to do. I call it preserving speed.
