Yeah, got some more maintenance/upgrading needing doing, but thanks to Dean, the bit i was worried about is all sorted :) Will explain when i see you man!
 
Nice EJ! think ive seen you around Edinburgh a few times, Ive just got a silver EJ9 which is a work in progress.

Sure I've seem you in leith and Costorphine area before, the reg stands out lol mine has HKS at the end so pretty memorable to

Yeah, sounds about right, i go to uni at Heriot Watt so probably been out looking for food when you've seen me haha. Ah sweet, will probably see you at some point!

just read through this, some life your car has had plus the lip has been a small ball ache eh!! lol

well done for doing alot of the work yourself, the car is looking great, cleanest EJ9 is have seen! Hopefully at the next meet i will get a better look at it and pics of ours together.

Thanks :) Its not perfect, there are few bits that i want to get painted still, but i think thats my OCD kicking in... Yeah for sure man! Sounds like a plan to me :)
 
Awkward moment when you're driving to uni in the morning and the clutch/gearbox shits itself on the bypass.

I had just come onto the bypass, changed from 3rd to 4th and it just lost most of the power, was barely any pickup. The car started revving freely, and i stupidly decided to stop on the hard shoulder (should've just got off the bypass). I did the old clutch test, and the car stalled no problem so I thought it couldn't be that, and i started worrying that the gear box had blown or something. I managed to get a bit of speed up and got onto the bypass lane so i could come off at the next exit, maximum speed i could get was 30, and I couldnt change out of 2nd gear...Stopped at a petrol station and took the bumper off so i could get towed to the local garage. Eventfull day lol.

Spoke to the garage today, and the say that the clutch had disintegrated...so thats getting fixed now. Should HOPEFULLY have the car back by Thursday....
