R1PPU's EJ9 Build Up


Well i went to change my thermostat yesterday, and noticed i had a little problem.

Ok, maybe a big problem.

Yep, thats my radiator hahaha. Needless to say, it was ****ed. Got a new one this morning, and got that in happy days. Turns out the thermostat i was given was wrong, so got another one. Me and my brother were both given incorrect thermostats for the cars, so gonna go back and go apeshit.

Oil and oil filter are sitting in the car waiting to go in, gonna get plugs from work on thursday and air filter, fuel filter and pollen filter have been ordered. Hopefully they'll be here on friday and i can get them on.
 
Haha bad buzz man, that's in some state! At least it's not the hardest fix :)
 
Was back in Glasgow last weekend, and didnt have any temperature troubles, so thats that sorted :)

Also serviced it during the week. Changed the fuel filter, oil filter, air filter, pollen filter, plugs and oil.

My jack collapsed when i was taking the car off the axle stands resulting in a snapped lip, again. Was too pissed off to take a picture when it happened, but here it is after some filler/fiberglass

Love this car man, I'd love one later on this year for my first car, whats the insurance like on it? No luck at all with that lip mate, think you were right when you said it was cursed haha.
 
Haha, cheers mate! As for insurance, lets not go there :p My freinds can all get insured on it pretty cheap, its pretty expensive for me though. I really wanna get something faster now and people keep offering to buy it, but i cant afford to insure anything faster, so will be keeping it for a while longer i guess :)
