Quick clean!!!


Had some Thermo Tec exhaust wrap sitting about for ages so decided to wrap my Maxim Works manifold as im sick of trying to keep it clean.

Takes forever doing this damm exhaust wrap,glad its over.......

Just a small update as i aint done one in a while.

Cleaned the rear arches and also behind the rear bumper, let it dry and then taped up various areas ready for some Dinitrol......



Previously had Dinitrol around these areas but was the brown thinner version used in the aerospace industry.
This version goes on thicker and is black.....





Fitting following in next few days.

Blueprint trailing arm bushings (one of my MUGEN bushings has split)
BWR rear toe arms

Clean underneath well and allow to dry,cover up exhaust etc and any parts you dont want covered in spray.

Rub any surface rust down with a wire wheel/brush, treat those areas with the likes of "Krust".

Wear glasses and would also say a mask as half the spray ended up my nose :).

Those fins are just for appearance, they are oem honda access parts offered in Japan.

Well aint done much to the car except fit a set of BLACKWORKS rear toe arms, oem clutch kit and a new YUASA battery,

Had a few cam covers sitting about doing nothing so i shaved one and a member on here powdercoated it for me,just want to keep the stock black wrinkle item in storage as its original paint and mint.

Threw on a BLACKWORKS oil cap also...

Well seems my Apexi WS2 cat back is on its last legs,had it from new and has served me well but the mild steel is showing its age on the piping and now leaking.

Had look around and decided to take no chances and buy new again........







Also picked up a second hand SARD "sport cat" to mate up to the above.

RMO1A for anyone who aint noticed :nice:

Hope all is good Jimbo, will have this car 10 years come easter so always changing small bits from time to time.

Exhaust and few other bits will be fitted in the new year.
 
SARD Cats don't come up very often. Have one myself and seems to do the job. Always passed the MOT too :nice:

Some nice little mods. Does look good mate.

10 Years! You must still be enjoying it then.

Well I pass mot with no cat at the moment so all should be good!
Yes these sports cats are quite rare and no way you would buy new due to the price.

Yes bud I just thought why pay 400+ for a second hand item especially if these systems are prone to failing in the baffles.

One of my aftermarket fog lights has crack in it so got a brand new OEM HONDA
fog light set up,comes with RAYBRIG/STANLEY fogs,covers, looms etc etc....



Im going to be busy come spring :)
 
Can't beat OEM! Looking forwards to seeing the new parts on in the new year. exhaust looks sweet too.
 
Shiiiit man oem fogs are a rarity! They will be so good when you get them on, I have heard they are night and day compared to reps in regards to sitting snug with the bumper!

You mr eternal and this car are just to far.... looks stunning love the attention to detail and all the oem goodness :), props to you for keeping the car for so long and kept interested in it.

Dibs if you ever sell it haha :)
