wow that was kind of harsh on that reply- why do we have to go to the mothers???? i have hid on my civic and all i hade to do is adjust them. if he doesn't want to adjust them thats his problem , sooner or later the cops will deal with him. but putting his mom into this ,is not necessary.

i only mentioned his mother as an example, thats who i worry about when i think of people who dont aim there headlights, i didnt say anything bad about her so im not sure why your all over me. i though this way he would understand.

wow, i wonder how long they last, or how the spread/cutoff is. someone should buy one and do a write up

Hey what about the hid kits you can buy on eBay I emailed a seller and he replied tellin me that a high and low beam h4 kit is available Do the hid's make a big differents cause my halogen bulbs are sh** thinking about buying one off these kits there retailing around €200

hid's are without a doubt as brite as you can get! as far as quality of the cheaper kits... its still questionable, i can get some for $230 shipped but there lowbeam only.

I was gonna go with the HID's but now that I got all the facts.. I think it would be a lot cheaper and safer to go with the phillips x-treme.. Plus who wants to go through the hassle of converting to HID if it's not going to work properly.

thanks blinx for the info, actually i'm looking for the replacement of my stock halogen bulb... i'm in uk, hope to find that phillips x-treme...:thanks:

the website mentioned in the first page is also in UK, you should have no problems getting the bulbs :nice:

ur right blinx. they are available in the uk for about 25gbp. the good thing is that they r road legal in the eu! :D they also reviewed them in the latest max power & were voted no 1!

they certainly are no 1 i have used many bulbs and the x-treme is without a doubt the best! i had to order mine from uk for $55usd which is about 25gbp. i think its a reasonable price. in fact i think its a very cheap price.

Blinx9900 why did you have to order them from the UK? Are they not available in the US? I am thinking of replacing my stock bulbs.

no they are not available in the US as they are not road legal out here

hey blinx did they emit a white light or is it a bit yellow? bcz i got a pair & there was a hell of a lot more light but it was yellow compared to the eagleyes i have on now. i prefer white light bcz it looks cooler on an ek9.

mine was pretty white, you can see it in the picture on the first page.

yeah i noticed. that's the wierd thing. mine look yellow.

hmmm :pics: did your bulbs come in the same packaging as mine? did the bulbs look the same? are your headlights clean? sometimes the plastic housing get hazy from smog and dirt on the road.
