Andy:))

Kickass colour bro!!:D

Will be a monster when its done for sure, you got any ideas on the power you want from it? (sorry if thats been answered already)

Colour scheme should look good too, Im sure someone on here has a similar scheme on their track Ek?? Think his is a Turbo B18..

Will be awesome anyway!! :nice:

Cheers man:))

Yea there is a guy on here with a 'similar' colour scheme. But i can assure you thatll be as close as it will be. :naughty: To be fair though, i seen his car after i had already came up with my plan. Its pretty hard to be ''Individual'' these days, any time you look at cars in the states your ideas have already been done. lol.

As for power, this engine and supercharger setup made 330hp in my mates EG civic. I would be pretty happy with the same figure. :nice:

330hp should be more than enough make this EK9 fly. Lol

Why did you choose Supercharging over Turbo, might I ask?

Seen a few 300hp Supercharged EP3s and DC5s, I was abit suprised that they were only making 200-or-so lb/ft of torque... Is that normal? Seems a bit poor for a 100hp gain to only gain40-odd torque, I realise superchargers dont offer as much torque as Turbos but still thought that was low..

Charging is a bit more reliable & secure, turbos tend to blow up.99% of hondas that have been turbo'd will blow up at some point if they have not already, its a shame but its the reality of it!

Superchargers sound crazy aswell :p

I have a feeling a few guys on here will be commenting on this, Let the Turbo boys be heard! :lol

The SC does sound crazy though!

I went for the supercharger as my mate who is building the car, also sold me the engine and charger. I was not planning to charge it at first, but the price i got it for i couldnt say no. lol

As far as the lower torque, as far as i know.... The supercharger is run off the crank, so its taking some of that torque just to turn the charger.... where as the turbo is run off the exhaust gas so there is no loss.

I guess if you had a propperly set up turbo kit it could be reliable, but im guessing what Ryan is reffering to is the people who just bolt the kits on and dont strengthen the internals. :nice:

Doesnt matter who says what, thats the way it is! Facts are facts! :blabla:

If ur turbo build has'nt blown up already...give it time it will :drive:

Not sayin im against them, just sayin if i was going boost i would charge it everytime!

TURBO'D HONDAS ARE VERY COOL JUST NOT RELIABLE!

I wasn't meaning anything by that, just thought some of the guys who had turbo'd would start having a go. Lol. I would agree, Supercharging is what I would do given the choice.
