My K20 supercharged EK9 *update p.26


Cheers guys! Should be running and mapped in the next couple of weeks. Then im just waiting on parts from the States and Japan. :)
 
Really, show me hard facts.
If it isnt reliable it hasnt been tuned properly, thats simple facts. But seeing you work with a specialist you will know this.
If they keep blowing up and there coming from your specialist garage id be looking at the garages work/tuning.

I know of plenty charged Honda's that have been running fine for years, must have been built and tuned right, unlike these facts your going to show..

Honda tuning specialist or not, turbo Hondas can be just as reliable, its normally the person behind the wheel doesnt no how to keep them reliable:angry2:
You also say you would go charger everytime? Why? Boost is boost Whats the difference? Or are you away to ask your boss for his opinion again?

Tdi north turbo k20's and they don't blow up. Lol
Once setup properly they will be fine. If you want to run over 350-400hp I would forge the internals.
I do get where you are coming from but you can't say they will blow up or not be reliable. Most of them won't be reliable but if done right they can be.

Haha u ragin?.As i have sayed they are very cool when done right but mosxt people dont put the money into them to make sure they are done right!Ofcourse theyr will be some that will keep on going.All i was saying is that MOST of the turbo build u see and hear about blow up because they have'nt been built properly or have'nt been taken care of.

Arfan i was talkin about B-series man :) and again people MOST not all ! All i was saying is i have seen alot of turbo build go wrong!

IMO chargers are more fun but thats my opinion!

Jesus man looks like a no expense spared job on this ha power and the sound of the supercharger alone will be immense! :)
 
And i thought i was the only one ordering 949s, guess it's us 3 so far. I've gone for the 7s though, don't think i could run 8s. I've gone for the nickel finish as well, looking forward to getting them.

Good choice! :D Yea, normally i wouldve went for 7's, but i think i will need the extra width to get traction.

Dunno about yours man, but mine are meant to be here mid april. :D I would guess they would be in the same batch. I ordered mine a while ago now.
 
Think mine are coming in June :(

Gives me time to save up for mega tyres though!
