My K20 supercharged EK9 *update p.26

If its headed for the track, don't scrimp on driveshafts, I run DSS 2.9, anything less will likely fail at some point.
It's not just about the power rating, are they up to a regular beating? A typical charged set up runs 300bhp & a fair whack of torque, Tegiwa's blurb states 'ideally suited to N/A, 280bhp/200lbft'?

Yea those are fair points, I guess it wouldn't be ideal, but I reckon the problems would only really start if you are launching the car off the mark. My mate ran this engine and supercharger in his EG civic with these driveshafts and it was fine for the last couple of years. If they break then it not a big job replacing them. :)

have a look on civic life, ah that's right, they are no longer traders :nono:

So what? One forum full of bandwagon sheep.

You told me to google search, I did there was no proof, then iv to go on civiclife?. Seems like your talking out your ass.

these are the two threads I can find, both old and neither relating to the Kswap shafts. Now they might be just as pish as the bseries ones, but without using them who are you too bash?

the b series shafts were meant to be copies, so imagine custom ones.

it's pretty obvious from the quality of the rest of the products.

just gave him some friendly advice, as i personally wouldn't run them, but as he said, his mate has ran them for a while, and no problems.

it was a personal opinion, i voiced it, done. get over it.

open forum.:naughty:

Nice build
where did you source the header and how much did you pay if you dont mind me asking?

I would like one but dont want to pay full whack and would rather get the rep as its the same.....

Very nice man, was lovely at the start say it's going to be an absolute animal wher you're done with it!

The SK2 header is meant to clear the ABS pump, would be nice to know if it does or not :nice:

User 'Tom83' on CTRO is selling his stage 2 Rotrex kit, runs 355bhp@9psi (poor exhaust), bought, fitted & mapped by TDI five months ago, for 3k..

Rotrex Supercharger,
Half Radiator
Intercooler
Belt to fit Non Air conditioned K20
750cc Injectors
Charger Lubrication reservoir
All the plumbing to go with it.

Thanks for the heads up mate. I will stick with the Jackson charger just now. I have a feeling it'll be hard enough to get traction with the power I have. Lol
