Iv had nothing to do tonight so i just went out for a drive and ended up taking sum pictures. Iv not posted any for a while

since the last time the coilovers have now finally been wound down, didnt want anything stupid, just enough to take away the oil rig look but still get around quickly without having to be on a constant lookout for bumps n holes.

its only been down a week or so, it will be going to get the geometry setup properly very soon now that its settled, so i can remain in control when the vtecs kick in........y0

but yeh, not much more to say at the moment, a few wee bits n bobs coming soon and some replacement type r stickers for the sides ( old ones were tatty, im just being fussy ) but for now, just time for updated pictures...

cheers :)

i like the last pic :)

looks good, aside from what appears to be snow/all weather tires?

...the tyres are actually quite sporty based, but i am living in scotland...lol :D and this is a daily driver so they are all weather too

thanks for the comments though...

plans for the time being are not major, but hopefully after new year i can start going places with it. i have 2 big birthdays, xmas, and a holiday over the new year period still to pay for!! ouch! lol

Thats looks great man. The wheels really suit it and I love how low it is:cool: Just put a Jap plate on the front!

Hi mate,

Whats the spec list????

looks awesome with it being lowered and the combo of the fog lights :))

thanks for all the comments, quick run down on all that it has just now, and what the future plans are. nothing major as yet.

Engine in stock form 185bhp with these goodies below
Volk TE37 wheels
Cusco Coilovers
Full Tanabe exhaust & decat pipe
ARC intake chamber & Blitz filter
NGK iridium race plugs
NGK performance leads
Carbon fibre bonnet
Spoon reservoir covers
Spoon magnetic engine & gearbox sump bolts
Awesome tunes, Panasonic dvd headunit & Alpine typeR door speakers ( had to keep it authentic with the typeR just cause im being a slag :D )

nothing too major like i said, good spec as they come from factory, i love the way it drives.

plans for the near future is just picky and fussy things, i want new typeR stickers for the sides as the old ones were shabby and peeling.

new rocker cover, just becuase the existing one has some flaking, and its a weird kind of paint that wouldnt be replicated with a spray job, its thick and grainy, like a rough powdercoat. you know what i mean lol.

after these very soon...

oil catch tank
engine damper
tein bonnet dampers
Mugen carbon fibre lip
Alpine typeR 6x9's to replace the stock 6x9's in the rear
and the only other real thing that i really want just now is a Toda or J's Racing manifold

i have more sinister plans for when xmas and new year have died down

amazing!!!

they do need looking after though. good regular spray of lubes and cleaning fluids on the winding rings and cups especially, as that is what has been seized on mine since i bought the car... which is why iv replaced them, il look after them though! thankfully the fronts are mint, cause they aint the cheapest!!

infact, il give you guys a laugh, the cups n rings were that seized that me and my mate in his garage put them in a pnewmatic grip that was mounted on his work bench ( to the point that the circles looked more like eggs lol ) and when he put this huge wrench on it he actually started to crack his bench worktop away from the metal frame that it was fixed to!!!

they were just ****ed lol

quick question actually

is there a way i can remove that cloudy/dusty headlight look so that they are perfectly clear? anyone else experienced this?

its just another thing im becoming fussy about

I've heard a few guys mention T-cut saying it works pretty well, but I couldn't budge it using T-cut or even scratch remover. In the end I had to take them down with a some2000 grit and then polish them back up using the scratch remover.

Came out real clear after that though...

cool thanks, i wasnt sure if id maybe have to try taking the light lens off and cleaning the inside. il see how it goes

had a dam good go at it today until it just got too cold with the tea cut and what a difference!!
