my ek3 build

cheers everyone, obviously its no ek9 but i love it!

lovin the build man . love the colour . did you manage to fit the tegiwa brake stopper. mine did not fit due to the inlet pipe being in the way

Thankyou matey, just the engine and stuff lettin the car down really, and the ride height and the rear drums lol.

yeh i fitted mine, u can see it in the engine bay picture with the aem intake. Mine left quite alot of room for the intake though. I have read that some people have just chopped a bit off the edge of the brake stopper, mabye u could try that

Konradinu - iv just been looking through your build and i like it alot lol very nice!! i am looking for a backbox just like your, could you tell me where you bought yours from plz? The piping from my backbox is straight and doesnt curve over the lca u see, so it knocks on the lca all the time, does my head in!

was a propa nice day so thought i would do my brakes, pads replaced, brake lines replaced and fluid changed. I also bought a backbox off aza yesterday and put that on today.

Cheers Andy!
I bought a polished rocker cover a while ago and decided to wack it on the old civ! Was a bit rough around the edges so i did more sanding and polishing and this is how it turned out. I just hope it doesnt go rusty when water gets on it.

hi m8 great job on your project ek3 :) didyou remove your trims on the doors to spray them or just mask up ?

i removed mine which is a bit time consuming. but once u know how to do one side the other side is dead easy.

My girlfriend decided to buy me some coilovers the other night, she said she wasnt taking enough interest in my hobby lol so she put £300 towards some meister r zeta s and some cyberspeed lca's for me. I am very jammy i no!!. I also got my wheels today(Thanks to Eternal blue on her) so i havnt stopped grinning since the postman had arrived. Iv got a Tenzo R front strut brace which needs to go on and a polybush front control arm kit on the way soon aswel as the front bushes are fooked. So next week some time il do the whole suspension in one go!
