I thought i updated this but clearly not. I got my Meister rs on the other week.

I was shocked to see the other wheel not touching the floor when one side was jacked up!

Then i got the front ones done, along with the new cambelt and sparkplugs

Few things that need doing:

lower back-end about 5mil

Get rear arch sorted along with a few scratches and flaking paint on bumpstrip

better brake set-up

then i need to start saving for my engine swap next summer. Not too sure which engine to go for, obviously b18c would be greatt but i don't know if my insurance would allow. I might just go b16a. hmmm
 
mate did you have to do much with your lip kit like trim it? im havin nightmares with mine i have to fiberglass the rear one now to fit it now but i dont mind to much doin this. but the front one doesnt sit flush its slightly tiltin upwards.
 
Just read through your build mate. Nice work and top looking motor. Love the way it looks enven more now its lowered ;)
 
like this it looks awesome but imo i think the lip and grill body coloured would look a lot better

ye my front one does tiilt upwards slightly but its not too noticeable. If you pull the sides up that go into the arches then this should tilt the front down a bit more then drill the holes when your happy with how it sits. The back one was a bit of a squeeze and it does move downwards, but it just needs sticking in the middle

don't worry mate that is in the pipeline im just too skint at the moment and the rust needs sorting first.
 
lately i could hear a knocking noise coming from the front drivers side. so i investigated and it turns out its the lower ball joint that needs replacing so il b cracking on with that tomorrow.Thought it was something to do with the steering rack, so i am relieved :) Here are sum pics of the engine bay with the new strut brace on and a bit of a clean.

Finally got my front bush kit from jdm performance. Took about 2 months to get here and its not the exact bushes i thought it was lol il still put them on il just have to order the other bushes aswell now.

Iv started reading up loads on my engine conversion and iv decided im deffo going for b18c4, its realatively cheap for what you get, has more displacement and isnt a Type R motor so it shouldnt be too high on insurance when i first get it in. I can mod It gradually overtime which i like to do :)

All i need to do now is get the bigger brakes sorted then i should be all set up for some engine shizzel. Firstly this summer is all about body work and colourcoding, not too much work involved but i want to get it out the way before i go to uni and the winter comes.

thanks guys!! will be picking up an evo 8 recaro on monday and week after that il be getting the front colourcoded and whole front bush kits installed.

On the look out for dc2 rear seats aswel but no1 selling atm
 
mate car looks so much better now. only things id do is de-wiper it and tilt the oem spoiler a bit makes such a difference.
